'Food is excellent and beds are very comfy. It's old-fashioned in that it's a conversion of an older building, so windows are single-glazed and the doors open with actual keys. But the rooms have everything you'd expect from a professionally run establishment. Staff are all friendly and professional though you sometimes have to seek them out – hardly surprising as there are only six rooms so they can't have someone permanently on duty.'

'Excellent hotel! Clean very comfortable rooms, charming with modern bathrooms, outstanding service! The outstanding Welsh staff are very warm, welcoming and helpful! Delicious made to order breakfast. Easy to walk all around Camarthen from the Spilman Hotel. Would definitely stay there again & recommend to others!'
