'It was beautiful and clean. Everyone was friendly and helpful. They even went to the trouble of replacing a pastry from a local bakery my nephew accidentally left behind when changing rooms. My only complaint was there were too many emails and text messages from both Expedia and the hotel. Probably 3-6 per day starting a couple of weeks prior to our trip!'

'Great set up. Well stocked with what we needed. Unfortunately on the alley beside our room there is a metal grate covering a hole in the road which makes a loud banging noise every time a car runs over it. We and other couples who stayed there had difficulty sleeping due to this. '

Er wordt ook niet tijdig aangevuld, toen ik hierom vroeg werd ik nijdig aangekeken. Kamer was zeer ruim en schoon, prachtig uitzicht op het ballpark was fantastisch. Bedden waren wel wat...

'Check in was supposed to be after three PM, but we didn’t get a room until four thirty PM. The rooms appeared to be pre assigned. Someone one we know got a room immediately after they got a room that had not been cleaned. So there was available cleaned rooms, but the staff made us wait. Liked proximity to the Great American ball park.'

'Clean and located in Newport district, which is fantastic. Try the Mexican place, Cancun. Also, there’s a bus stop right out front that goes to Great American ballpark for Reds games every 15 mins.'

'While Shirley at the front desk was professional and accommodating, this property is in need of serious updating. They also appeared to have a fruit fly issue… An elevator in the hotel and an elevator in the parking structure were out of order. I think these accommodations were embarrassing for a wedding party that had perhaps encouraged guests to stay, perhaps remembering it as a younger, better maintained property prior?'

'Beautiful nostalgic hotel with nice lounging and breakfast areas. Hotel room was spacious, clean and decorated and large bathroom with ample shelving for hygiene products. Great gym as well. Breakfast was excellent with healthy options. Home fries were amazing fresh & tasty. Staff were very friendly and courteous.'

'Half of the blinds didn’t work. I had to leave a day early and was told that if I contacted Expedia that I could get a refund for the extra night I didn’t stay and now they’re saying I can’t have a refund for the extra night. Parking was very expensive. Room wasn’t very clean.'

'The property is exactly what you expect a Holiday Inn to be. It’s in good condition and was clean. The staff was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. There is a train fairly close to keep in mind when packing. We bring a small portable fan for white noise and didn’t hear the train when that was on.'
