'Overall very good experience - the hotel, the rooms, cleanliness, staff, value for money, check in, check out, standard of rooms and facilities - All excellent. Except that there is cow dung smell when you open windows because of the farms and animals in the nearby houses, sheds etc. I understand its not related to hotel, but just rural locality. So i would still rate the hotel and stay as excellent.'

'Just a 2 night stay. Small room with a small bath room. Plenty drawers and hangers enough plug sockets but no usb outlets. Breakfast is ok no more. Restaurant food is very very good and not silly prices. Overall we loved our stay small room but short of nothing with good but small shower. We will stay again but the restaurant is worth a visit'

'What a beautifull and very cosey hotel with lovely staf members. We loved our big family room with sea view. We loved the bar and the diner and breakfast. All served nu lovely people. We made some walks in the Lake District. Most beautifull and sometimes challeging. Thanks for everything. '

'oud verblijf, netjes en compleet ingericht, vriendelijk. Geen hoogvlieger maar een goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Geselecteerd op parkeermogelijkheid....dus niet. Langs de weg in het dorp of op een betaalde parkeerplaats uit het zicht. '

'Our first time in a pod but we loved it. We stayed with our two young children, who were sad to leave! The pod was clean, cosy, had everything you need and on a quiet but secure site. We booked very last minute but had an easy check in with great communication from hoasts. Would come again x'
