'The chalets are located around a lake with ducks and swans.
Nice house with 2 bedrooms, a good sofabed, two badrooms and a complete kitchen. Very helpful reception.
Sorry that we only booked one night. We will return!'

'What a great stay. Kevin and Maria were very attentive, warm, and hospitable. This was our first night in UK after a long flight and felt like home. The accommodations were very nice and the king room was so cozy. The bed slept great and had everything we needed. The breakfast was first class but also made us feel like we were staying with family! Thanks for the great stay.'

'The Hotel has a lot of character and is in a beautiful location in the Dales. We watched lambs playing in the field as we had breakfast. There are great walks on to the Dales or down to the river from the front door. The staff were very friendly, and we had a lovely restful stay.'

'It is impossible to overstate the standard of the Wensleydale Heifer. The awards affirm the restaurant quality and the standard of accommodation.
What they do not evidence is the attention to detail that every member of staff personifies.
This is the first opportunity we have had to stay at the Heifer, although we have eaten here before. The hotel was everything we hoped for and will become our "go to" place in the Dales.

'This small hotel is located next to the River Wyre and has some lovely rooms.
I stayed 4 night with them at 75 pounds per night including breakfast.
The room was very nice, with lovely large bed, view of the river and great shower.
The room was recently re-done and has great wallpaper.
The food is very good, the breakfast has some excellent old time favourites on the menu, like soft boiled eggs with soldiers, and porridge. But it is all home cooked and tastes very fresh and lovely.

'Ran by a wonderful couple who are really friendly and accommodating. The lodge is in a beautiful location and the facilities and room are lovely.
Breakfast was included and we were asked beforehand what we wanted so it would be ready for the time we requested. And it tasted wonderful.
Me and my girlfriend have visited here twice now and I'd greatly recommend a stay here.'
