Birthday Weekend
Such a lovely cozy cabin. The perfect place to escape for whatever reason it may be. It snowed so much and we loved it. It was so magical all around. Home was easy to find even when we arrived at night. Had everything we needed in addition to what we brought. Will definitely be back.

Perfect Adirondack Winter Getaway
StoneHaven at Caroga Lake was the perfect place to get away for Christmas. The cabin was super comfortable with its radiant floor heating and added option of cozying up by the wood stove. Sleep quality was excellent on the mattress in the master bedroom and the quietness of the surrounding area was amazing. Felt very private, even with the house next door. Other than an occasional car headed to the house down the street, we didnt see anyone else during our stay. Kitchen was ready for cooking and serving. There was even a mini Christmas tree already setup for us in the living room. Looking forward to our next stay!

Stonehaven is a heavenly getaway. It’s so quiet and yet has everything you need during your stay in Caroga. Everyone in the area is super friendly. Trent made this stay super easy and I recommend this beautiful cabin to everyone needing some time in the woods.

Exactly what we wanted.
Almost strategically placed for us. We came to stop over for a trek to the baseball hall of fame and visit some local towns and shops. This time of year the temperature can change in this region. I was hoping for snow, the wife was hoping for heat. We got the in-between.

Great little cabin
It was a nice quiet location and great for relaxing. We visited Howe caverns (amazing!), via aquarium and Utica zoo while we were there. Perfect distance from the cabin. Also hiked to the Kane mountain fire tower. Only thing that could have been better, the floors were dirty and had dog hair. But besides that, we loved the place! Child friendly too !

Outstanding rental property
My friend and I were touring historical sites in the north state. This property was ideal for our visit. The house is spacious, beautifully appointed, and a real bargain. If I am ever in the area I will surely look up our friends again.

This charming cabin in the woods was perfect for our group of 6 adults. The owner was responsive to my inquiries and everything was clean and as expected upon arrival. The floors had radiant heat so the cabin was toasty. Would definitely stay again!

Best stay ever!
I can't get enough of this place. We had everything we wanted. A combination of a camping experience with all the comforts of 2022. Peaceful, private, beautiful. My kids are already asking when we can go back. Hosts were super helpful and kind. House of filled with everything you might need (bring towels). Lake is a short walk (not easiest with a bunch of younger kids but doable and worth it). The firepit and outdoor seating area were so nice. The cabin has a great ambience and overall there aren't enough stars to rate this place, it's above and beyond. Thank you to our hosts for having us, we loved every minute!

Fabulous holiday getaway!
My family (including two young children) stayed here over New Years. It was the perfect getaway! Gorgeous home that provides a cozy space to curl up to watch movies and share a great meal! There were lots of games and toys for the kids to play with and ample room outside to run around, explore, go for walks, and sled. The owners were incredibly responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful ADK Cabin
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin/house in the ADK park. The owners have clearly put work and thought into decorations and comforts for their guests. Everything was as stated in the description, and it was perfect. Would definitely book again, especially in the winter. I enjoyed reading the guest ledger filled with all the wonderful family times spent at this gem. I thank the owners for a wonderful and relaxing vacation. My soul is renewed.

Perfect place for a long weekend! The house has a great fire pit, well-stocked kitchen (even a crock pot AND brownie pan), and fabulous radiant heat floors. We had such a great time going to several area hikes. Thank you so much!

My daughter picked the property and we were very happy with her choice. We brought too many supplies thinking that we would need them, but it was all provided in the house. It was still early in the season so it was very quiet around town. It was restful and we wished that we had stayed a few more days. We may book again in the future.

Thanksgiving visit
The cabin was absolutely gorgeous! With two young children, we especially appreciated the books, games, and toys that the cabin was stocked with. It was also great that a crib was provided. My only complaint is that there were not built in toddler toilet seats as is listed on the site. The kitchen had everything we needed to make a low-key Thanksgiving meal. We definitely hope to return in the summer with friends and family and get out on the lake.

Beautiful Cabin
We had a great stay here! The cabin was very clean & comfortable. It’s sits on a mostly private road & property. There was no one at the property next to us when we came. There is some trees & brush separating you from the 1 next to it. The cabin is beautifully decorated & plenty of room! Beds were comfortable. The 1 thing I wish there was is a clock in main bedroom. Other than that it was perfect! Outside is very nice with a nice fire pit & porch! We loved that the porch was on side of house with no cottage right next to it. 1 of the reasons we chose this property was because we could bring our dogs! It is very dog friendly & they even had bowls out for the dogs! We walked our dogs down to the water every am. It is a short walk but there are many stairs to go down to get to it. Wasn’t a problem except our dogs were so excited to swim they’d be pulling us down them! Lol But it was a great place for them to go! There is also great hiking nearby to go. We hiked at 9 corners lake trail which was perfect! Dogs went swimming there as well! This was a perfect time to go & enjoy the beautiful leaves! Overall great time & place to stay! Would highly recommend!

Thanksgiving Getaway
Stonehaven was the perfect place for our getaway. The home was immaculately maintained, cozy and comfortable. The owners have thought of everything, all we needed to bring was food, towels, and our own personal items. The kitchen is very well equipped, we had everything we needed to prepare our Thanksgiving dinner. We took one trip into Gloversville to have a look around but we were very content to sit by the fire, play board games, and walk the dogs. Just perfect.

Stone Haven was the perfect place for our friends' weekend getaway. We found so much care was put into the lovely house. There were fresh linens laid out for us when we arrived and all the basics provided. Trent was incredibly attentive and responded within minutes if we had a question. Secluded and quiet with everything you need
Stone Heaven is a quiet comfortable camp with all the necessities you need including a fire place for the cool evenings. It’s close to multiple hiking trails and plenty of places to get your toes in the water. Stone Heaven is also very kid friendly with lots of different games for the kids to play.

Very nice home close to many great things to do. We hiked to Nine Corner Lake and the Kane Mt fire tower. Rented a pontoon boat on Peck Lake. Beach day at Caroga Lake Park . Enjoyed the porch and hammock,relaxed by the campfire in the evening. The kitchen had everything you might need except an ice cream scoop. The house is very private, we really enjoyed our stay!

We had a great time here. The home is beautiful and had everything we needed. Trent was always available for questions while we were there plus before I had even rented the cabin! We rented a pontoon boat at carago lake marina for a day with our dogs and it was great. Also did a nice hike at 9 corners which led to a beautiful lake for swimming. All in all, a great vacation .

The property is situated in a quiet lot and it was nicely decorated. We didn’t cook there but it had everything you might need for preparing meals. The one thing we had a slight issue with was the internet was very spotty at times but overall we had an enjoyable, relaxing time. Thank you.

Very nice stay and place. Very child friendly and contact with the owners is very quick and adequate. In the beginning there was an issue with the cleanness, but Trent solved the problem absolutely with all the effort. We are very satisfied as customer and feel us more than welcome. We can recommend this house everyone and especially if you like rest or you have small children. We are looking back on a great time.

Beautiful and so quite
The house is so beautiful and so quite !! We really appreciate our week end. We were 2 families and the house was perfect. Our children enjoyed playing outside with the snow and inside with the available game. We had a walk to the lake which is close and we spend great time inside near the fire place looking at the snow outside. Trent and Patty answered promptly to our questions. Finally we had our first wonderful thanksgiving there !!!

Great mountain getaway!
Stone haven was great from start to finish! The house was exceptionally clean upon arrival. It was extremely comfortable for 4 adults and 2 dogs. It is located very close to the Kane Mountain hiking trail which was a fun excursion for one of our days. The house is extremely cozy as the owners do a great job of making it feel like home. It’s great because it is close to area attractions while also being isolated enough in the woods that it makes your trip feel like a true get away. Trent was great the whole time and responded promptly to any texts we sent him. We would definitely book this place again. It’s great for a relaxing weekend in the mountains!
