'The cottage is lovely, and modern equipped. The jacuzzi is really great. The garden is beautiful. And from there we made day trips to the Kerry way and Limerick. Nearby is a church and a pub. We have had a good stay and the housekeepers were very helpful.'

'Easily the worst overnight stay I have encountered anywhere in my travels. We had no working water heater the first 24 hours so none of us could shower. The floors were sticky. We killed two sizeable spiders in the unit. The whole place smelled like chemicals but I couldn’t quite place what they were. Every shower had mold and mildew (and gross amounts of caulking) and mine included a sliver of dried bar soap complete with black speck inside the soap dish. The pillows were the kind you might...

'By far the oldest house we have slept in. The owners did an excellent job making it comfortable and charming. We loved that the host went through the house with us upon arrival and gave us an orientation. He even picked apples and pears from the yard and put them in a basket for us on the cozy table. The house is quite large with lots of sitting areas, a nice fireplace and cozy beds. We loved the town Adare and highly recommended this stay'

'Bathrooms were tiny, had no mirrors and hot water did not work in one. Remote for one tv did not work. Lighting was poor in kitchen and dining room. Pull on one drawer was broken. Exposed wires in dining room. Cushions did not fit in living room. Needed better instructions for stove.'

'Breakfast food for the first day was graciously provided by the owner. Accommodations for our 7 adults family was very spacious. If coming from the US be aware the are switches in the bathroom to active hot water in the showers. We had a hiccup with the hot water supply but the owner was very quick to resolve the issue. The close proximity to town (6 minute drive) provide d restaurants/pubs, food store, pharmacy, gasoline, church, shopping…. I highly recommend this house. '
