Gentlemen at front desk very polite and attentive. Entire property needs updating. Shower curtain stained… hall carpet worn. Dusty room. Top of tv very dusty. Just did not feel clean in room. Breakfast was very good but no bacon. Workers outside in white truck had very foul odor when getting luggage out of car. Did not feel safe then.

Good basic hotel, fine for an overnight stay. Surprisingly good breakfast offered. Rooms were kinda odd, tiniest bathrooms I’ve either been in, especially for a king sized room?

Dog next door barked all through the night. Computer issues at check in and check in process took over 30 minutes. Driveway into hotel super steep and vehicle bumper scraped entering and leaving hotel. Parking lot is tiny and limited parking. Hotel staff must live on premises because the smell of their international food cooking permeated throughout hotel floor at a late hour (after typical dinner time).

The property was pretty run down. The showers were very gross, shower heads hardly sprayed. There was long strands of dark hair in the covers. You could hear anything going on outside your room. At one point someone’s alarm went off on their phone for about 20 minutes and you could hear it the entire time. The halls and stairwells were dirty and smelly. Next time will pick a little more carefully.

The staff were great but the bathroom in my room on the third floor was unusual. Seemed to be an afterthought, as if the room was built but they added on the bathroom at the last minute. Hard to maneuver to the shower as the door was in the way. But I wasn’t moving in just passing through so I managed.

It was pretty noisy. We should have been given a room not as close to the large group of patrons. The bathroom faucet was spitting out the water too hard. When you put your hands under to wash them it was very hard and would spray all over the sink counter getting everything wet. Also, the sink drain did not have a stopper to prevent items from falling down the drains.There was no alarm clock in the room. We had to result to use our phones as a clock and alarm clock. The room was definitely not worth the $200. We should be given a credit to compensate for all the problems we experienced.

The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff was wonderful. The breakfast was delicious. The coffee area could be more appealing by adding the little non refrigerated creamers and sugars. I was hesitant to try because the creamer set out and is refrigerated type. The smoking area could use some pick up . They also should remove the container in the parking area.

The toilet seat was broken. No hot water. Ran it for 5-6 min and was very lukewarm. Anyone who cleaned it would know this. Blow dryer turns on but no real air. Old? Other issues too, but it's not worth it as i won't go back. $200. Funny.

The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. The water was turned off by plumbers one hour before checkout so we had to wait to take a shower. The shower needs to be re-caulked as there was mold. The pool was dirty and gross. The phone was not even plugged in.

Not bad but not Great
Overall stay was not bad but wasn’t great either. Breakfast was terrible. The door to our room did not feel safe. We constantly heard noises but that could have been just the guests. Cleaning staff starting cleaning our room before we officially checked out and had to get our stuff from another room while we were still packing up to go. It was very difficult to find a parking spot due to large construction vehicles parked. There was an odd smell in the hallway on our floor and elevator. The desk staff was very friendly and our room was very clean and water in shower was hot.

The overall room appearance was clean however the bathroom shower and tub area was nasty. The mattress was rundown every time you moved it made noises like it was gonna fall down, so we couldn’t get comfortable, for fear of falling of it falling apart.

I was very displeased with the fees from the hotel without having prior knowledge. They held an additional “incidentals fee” of $100 per room & we booked two, that was not aforementioned when I booked!

My room was located next to a large party that kept me up ALL night! I heard talking, laughing and doors slamming the entire time. I dont know why they could not have put me in a room far away from this party. Everything else was nice but i needed REST!

Upon check-in the indifferent, unfriendly clerk gave me a room that had not been cleaned. I went back to the desk and had to endure another 10 minutes of indifferent service, before another room was given. This room had a dirty floor, and I woke up in the night to discover a cockroach crawling on my wrist. Under the circumstances any Hampton Inn would have immediately refunded me my money... The clerk at checkout could have cared less when I complained. LaQuinta used to be pretty nice. I'll never stay at another one again.

We visited Rome and stayed in the hotel one night. It is pet friendly hotel and worked for us very well because we had our small dog with us. Unfortunately Expedia did not inform that we have to pay extra for pet which I don’t mind but it would be nice to know upfront. Hotel seems in good condition and remodeled; however our room was smell bad due to outdated filtration system. It was moldy smell and then we found mold on the curtains. Towels also did not smell fresh. Location is convenient. You need a car to get to Rome downtown. Downtown is about 5-6 min away. We visit Rome once a year for Schnauzer fest hopefully by next year they fix filter issue.
