'Absolutely a gem of a hotel. From the moment we arrived, to when we left it was a pleasure to stay here. Gorgeous space, fantastic staff and such friendly owners. From their lovely honour system at their 24 hour self serve bar to their unique fabulous breakfast, we will always stay at the Diplomat Boutique Hotel when in Merida. We can't rate it high enough. The owners, Sarah and Neil are amazing hosts!'

'The location is excellent — just a 15-minute walk to the city center and several main attractions, which makes it very convenient to get around without needing transportation. Overall, the place has great potential due to its prime location and the owner’s attentive service. However, it requires better supervision and maintenance to provide a more comfortable and consistent experience for guests.'

'The staff was amazing and they made us feel at home. Our trip was perfect thanks to them.'

They also had personnel that assisted with transport requests. Staff was cooperative and friendly readily to assist. I got a room upgrade do to Gold status to a suite and a...

'Beautiful hotel.'

Mooie kamer, heerlijk bed, fijne badkamer. En alles is mooi en verfijnd. Het zwembad, het ontbijt, het personeel. Alles is gewoon perfect. '
