'The room and bathroom and bedroom was very clean. So is the kitchen. The staff is also extremely helpful. Unfortunately, in our first room, the microwave did not work at all so they switched us to another room where there were two microwaves. One did not work, but the other one did work. Also, our first room seemed to have all of the pots and pans that we would have needed in the second room. So I guess if you need pots and pans and cups and things like that at the front desk because...

'Robert was a fun and welcoming host. Dubuque in February was not a super-lively place but we made the most of it. Construction across the street woke us around 7 am, making the 8 am do-or-die breakfast schedule understandable. The building is a living and breathing treasure. We enjoyed the video souvenir of our stay.'

'The cabin itself was beautiful and had a lot of charm ,we really enjoyed the surroundings and the overall setup. However, we did have issues with bugs and flies inside the property in both bedrooms which made the stay less comfortable than expected. With a bit more attention to pest control and cleanliness, this place could be an excellent stay.'
