The Space:

The living room features a wall of windows looking into the forest, perfect for bird watching or curling up next to a woodstove fire and watching the snowfall. The kitchen is open, bright, and fully equipped with All-Clad pans, spices, and all you need to cook your next meal. High-quality linens, Tempur-Pedic mattresses, independent heating/cooling in each bedroom create a luxurious setting for a restful night.

Explore the nearby Bridge of the Gods Trailhead, a short drive away, for breathtaking views and hiking adventures. For a taste of local flavors, Thunder Island Brewery and Gorges Beer Co. are within easy reach, offering refreshing brews and delicious food. You can also stroll along the riverside at Thunder Island Park, a peaceful spot to relax and enjoy the scenic beauty. For groceries or a quick bite, local shops and restaurants are a short drive away, ensuring you have everything you need for a comfortable stay. The neighborhood is known for its friendly atmosphere and easy access to outdoor activities, making it an ideal base for exploring the stunning Columbia River Gorge.



Getting Around:

Walking - Cascade Locks has local riverfront spots, breweries, and trailheads nearby, but this is still a nature-focused mountain/Gorge setting rather than an urban walking area.



Driving - A car is recommended for getting around the Columbia River Gorge. Free driveway/on-site parking is available at the property.



Recreation - Minutes from Bridge of the Gods, the PCT trailhead, Dry Creek Falls, Thunder Island Park, Hood River, and Columbia River Gorge waterfalls.



Airport - PDX is approximately 45-60 minutes by car via I-84, depending on traffic and weather.

We welcome pets! Our cleaning team deep cleans between every stay, though we can't guarantee 100% dander-free for allergy-sensitive guests

10 PM - 7 AM (building + city ordinance)



🚭 No Smoking or Vaping

Smoking and vaping are not allowed anywhere on the property, indoors or outdoors. Guests who wish to smoke or vape must leave the property completely.



Interaction with Guests:

We're available by message anytime and typically respond within minutes. We're local to Portland and happy to help with anything - from restaurant recommendations to a quick answer at midnight when you can't find something. We keep a hands-off approach unless you need us, and when you do, we're right there.
