Welkom bij Bessemer Mountain Lodge! Geniet van 35 privé-acres inclusief privétoegang tot de rivier. Wij zijn gevestigd aan de North Platte River, bekend om zijn vliegvisserij van wereldklasse. Perfect voor de natuurliefhebber, met een overvloed aan wilde kalkoenen, herten, Amerikaanse zeearenden en een breed scala aan verschillende soorten vogels.

This was a terrific stay! The house was very clean, the host was easy to communicate with, and fishing on the North Platte was fantastic (even late in the season). The house is much larger than it appears in the photos and there is a ton of room to spread out and have privacy if needed. Beds were comfortable and there was a lot of options for recreation both at the house and in the area. I had to do some work during our stay and the wifi worked well. No complaints and would rent again!

Great Rendezvous Point

Our family ( including 2 teenaged boys)traveled from KS and met my brother from western NE. This was a great location for us to meet. The location is beautiful and serene. The home is rustic, chic, comfortable! Great kitchen and use of grill. The pool table was an absolute hit for my boys. Plenty of space inside and outdoors. Had we had more time we would have been at the river. Close enough to Casper. Krystin and Kim were easy to communicate with as well as quick to respond. I could go on about this property/accommodation-- it's wonderful!

Lovely house.

Very nice house by the river. Expensive though, with host and charges for over six individuals. We rented 2 houses for Thanksgiving. This was listed at the same rate as the other, yet cost more than double.

Modern lodge with great communal space both inside and out!

We celebrated 35 years of friendship dating back to our college days. We wanted a place to relax, enjoy some outdoor space, and go fishing, and the Bessemer Mountain Lodge delivered beyond our expectations. The interior was immaculately clean when we arrived, and the well-appointed kitchen suited our needs to stay in and cook for our four-day trip. The portable camping chairs were a nice amenity, and we brought them down to the river to enjoy fishing and the sunset each night. Our hosts were super responsive to questions, and we are already discussing a return trip to this property!

Wonderful and peaceful property

Our family had a wonderful stay here. Beds were comfortable and the amenities were plentiful. Lots of space indoors and plenty of outdoor seating areas! Easy communication and check-in was great. Kitchen is well appointed and there were plenty of towels, etc. Easy access to Casper and Alcova. Great place!

Everything was super clean, straightforward, and as advertised. I didn’t want to get my hopes up due to other experiences but I have to say this place exceeded my expectations by a long shot. Kirsten was awesome and communicated very well. The house was amazing and perfect for 6 guys on our fishing trip with private river access. House was clean and beautiful. We also enjoyed the pool table when the weather was nasty. Will definitely stay again.

Lovely house, not as advertised and won’t get WHOLE HOUSE

1. It is advertised as a 6 bedroom house, it is a 5 bedroom with a small sitting room with a sofa. There were only 2 of us but I was willing to PAY EXTRA for a 6/5 bedroom instead of a 2 because of it’s location. The owner contacted me 1 week prior to our stay and asked “which part of the house we wanted open” ? I stated the whole house I hope. She said since there are 2 we will not open the other 3 bedrooms due to Laundering. The morning prior I contacted her and said I would like all bedrooms available as my 16 yr old likes to choose his bedroom in the basement. When we arrived, they had the upstairs ready for us, but in the basement only one of 3 bedrooms were ready, the other 2 LOCKED. So unprofessional and unacceptable. 2. It is also advertised as “ 35 private acres”. Extremely misleading, as the 35 acres are shared with at least 4-5 other homes. 3. Night 1 the owner texted and asked if her husband could work on the extensive irrigation system. It was sprinkling out, so we were not using the outdoor decks, said sure. He walked back/forth close to the house, quite intrusive. Night 2 it rained again, but night 3 beautiful and sunny. As I sat outside for my final night, excited to enjoy the view, the same guy drove up, parked 25’ in front of me, opened the garage and proceeded to walk around fixing the same. This time he got out his ATV and road back and forth I assume to their house, at least 5 times over an hour period. I finally had to go inside, SO INTRUSIVE.

Wonderful riverside getaway

This property exceeded our expectations in every way! The pictures, description, and reviews don’t do it justice. The location along the river allowed for beautiful views out every window. The owners thought of every detail in preparing the property for guests. We spent our days relaxing and walking down to the riverfront to fish. The owners responded to questions before our visit and recommended a nearby reservoir that our kids loved! It was a short 15 minutes away. If you’re considering this property, book it! You’ll be glad you did!

Piece of paradise!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bessemer Mountain Lodge! The online photos are accurate but honestly do not do this property justice...the accomodations were inviting, luxurious, generous, extremely comfortable, expansive, and more than we could ask for. Our guests that joined us were just as delighted and pleased. The hosts were very available and communicative. We are very grateful and look forward to returning again.

Friends fishing trip

There were 8 of us that came out to fly fish for a couple days. The house was worked out great! Perfect location, as advertised, evenings were enjoyable, very spacious and big. I’d highly recommend and would stay there again if I went back.
