'After the helpful hotel staff assisted in finding a parking place for our car, we were treated on one of the terraces under the grapevines on a welcome drink accompanied by some local pastries whilst enjoying a cool afternoon sea breeze. By the time we finished our luggage was waiting for us in our room that had the most wonderful seaview. 'This property is a gem. The host is very welcoming and has a wealth of information about the best places to eat and visits. The rooms are simple but very clean. Ideal location central to main tourist sites but not noisy. Strongly recommend.'

'Palazzo Del Sale is a gem. Giovanni was so welcoming and friendly, as were his staff and dog Gigi. At check in we were treated to a cappuchino before Giovanni helped us with our bags up to our room. The location of the hotel is perfect for easy walking around beautiful Ortigia. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable and having the patio just outside our door an added bonus. I highly recommend the Palazzo Del Sale and look forward to visiting again. '
