It’s close to the coastal village of Auchencairn (2.5 miles) and within easy reach of Dalbeattie (10 miles) and the market towns of Castle Douglas (10.5 miles), Scotland’s ‘Food Town’ and Kirkcudbright (11 miles) the ‘artist town’. Galloway Activity Centre, by the banks of Loch Ken (17 miles), offers a great choice of water sports and activities. Explore Galloway Forest Park (20 miles), home to the first Dark Sky Park in Europe. Mountain bikers can enjoy trails at 7Stanes (11 miles) and golfers can experience an impressive 32 courses in the surrounding area. For wildlife and bird enthusiasts, the RSPB Ken Dee Marshes (17 miles) and the fantastic red kite trail are a must!

Enter the luxury lodge via a small flight of steps into the spacious hallway, an ideal place to store all outdoor clothing. Venture into the fabulous open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering stunning coastal views. The lounge area has comfortable sofas, a Smart TV and a Sonos Bluetooth speaker which make it a great place to watch a film or listen to your favourite music after a day out exploring. The well-equipped kitchen is the perfect place to cook up a storm, complete with an excellent addition of a wine fridge and a central island for sitting and keeping the cook company. You can then sit together in the dining room, admiring sea views via French doors. Along the hallway, you’re met with the wonderful king-size bedroom with magnificent sea views, a Smart TV and a large dressing room. The bathroom is exceptionally spacious, fitted with a beautiful free-standing bath, a large separate shower with double double-headed rain shower and a WC. There is also direct access from the bathroom out to the enclosed balcony where you’ll find the hot tub and sauna. The handy utility area with a washing machine and tumble dryer completes the spacious accommodation.

Step outside onto the fully enclosed patio area, which provides a large haven for dogs. Relax and enjoy a dip in the private hot tub whilst admiring the unforgettable view. Enjoy al fresco dining and lazy evening star gazing across the bay. There is also a fully covered deck area, with seating and multi-coloured mood lighting that can twinkle away as you sit out.
