'This was the very best hotel and staff. The room was lovely. Staff were friendly, and they couldn't do enough for you. They would do anything in their power to make your stay a pleasurable experience.
I would strongly recommend the stay, with the Marina literally two minutes away, and the town center a 10 minute walk away.
My only problem was the food. It's not the best, and don't have the breakfast you'll be wasting your money, it has very poor quality ingredients. You'd be better off eating...

'een zeer welkome en efficiente ontvangst. zeer klantvriendelijk personeel. de kamer was tot in de puntjes verzorgd en zeeer schoon. in de pub een uitstekende maaltijd genoten. 's morgens kon ik eerder ontbijten om op tijd op de luchthaven te kunnen zijn. kortom een uitstekend hotel en zeker een adres om terug te keren!!'

'Lovely hotel, beautiful inside. staff were really helpful and friendly. Beautiful location. The only things that let it down, was the annexe we stayed in, could of done with a bit of updating and an iron. But other than that i would advise staying in one of the rooms inside the hotel. We had a nice relaxing stay'

'This was our first time staying at a hotel that wasn't staffed. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The accommodations were very modern. Plenty of hot water. Easy access to both train and bus stations. Walking distance to a variety of restaurants and grocery stores. Quiet. We didn't hear street noise. Stairs are steep, as others have noted. 'Yes all very friendly. Good menu for evening meals & breakfasts. Quirky old building with quite a few steps with in the downstairs & upstairs.
Good parking with cameras.
Due to being a listed building,no double glazing. You do hear the planes from 6am. But all in all very pleased for our visit.'

'My overall assessment on the stay would rate it no more than a three star. There are some minor maintenance issues that need to be looked into. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Food was very good and the full English was excellent. The idea of filling out what you wanted for breakfast the previous day was not really how I would like it as this might change, I would prefer to decide on the day. Conclusion: The accommodation was a little tired and in need of a spruce up.'
