They are on the corner of the walkable shopping district (so not in the chaos but easy to go have fun) and only a 5 minute walk to a lovely little park with walking trail. So we were asked to sit and wait. Another couple was waiting and they just got something to drink. The staff was very busy so after 10 min we asked if we also could get a drink. But we were reuqested to go to the next door bar. Yeah sure... no way - what an awfull place. Never coming back again!'

Only frustration is that our room did not have air conditioning. Only some rooms have AC but our door opened which allowed plenty of air flow from outside.'

'For property that was opened up in the 1800s, there are modern conveniences and amenities. Location is perfect, the staff is friendly and nice, and the spa is over the top. The building is very old, but everything else gets an A+ plus. there was a concert of instrumental musicians in the lobby on the night that I arrived, which was extraordinary.'

We could not get the heating to work, but kept the window closed to keep the room warmer. Shower pressure was not great, but adequate.'
