Review
We very much enjoyed this property. We walked to the pond and followed the trail to the cave a few times. The house has all the comforts of home. We had a fire in the fire pit. You can see large catfish in the pond below from the house.

Loved the open kitchen and living room… So that we could all be together… Looking out the picture window at the beautiful fall colored leaves… Had everything in the kitchen that you needed to cook with… had a very homey feeling… outside deck was awesome… Wish we could have had better weather so that we could enjoy it… Overall… We had an awesome time

Great cabin to getaway for fun and relaxation.
The cabin was cozy and comfortable . We had a great time. The view was gorgeous with the leave’s changing. There is a large porch to sit and drink coffee in the morning and enjoy the view.

In love with this lodge!
Beef Holler was just perfect for us. Secluded in the woods but not far from town. All you need is your food and clothing, they have absolutely everything you could want or need. The fishing pond was so fun and beautiful. And again if you forget your pole they have plenty to choose from. The owners have really furnished your every need here. One thing I can say is we didn't bring a heavy catfish pole and I suggest you do so because we had some snap our lines back in the reel😱 There's BIG fish in that pond! We will be back!😁

Glad to be back at Beef Holler
This cabin is a hidden gem. Our family visited in 2020 and loved our stay. We all said it would be great to return, and we finally did this past week. Beef Holler has everything you need-from kitchen supplies to outdoor equipment. We love passing the time paddling on the pond or sitting at the oversized picnic table on the spacious side porch (my favorite spot😀). We also enjoyed hiking Devil’s Bathtub, a visit to Mountain Rose Vineyard, and stopping at Mann’s Farmer’s Market in Ft. Blackmore for buckets of strawberries. If you get the chance, stay at Beef Holler.

Best lodge ever!!
the best place to stay when you wanna go hike and visit devils bathtub and a lot of places to visit near the area . it was so clean and organize , they provided everything we need esp. kitchen, bathroom and beds stuff . it has amazing view from the window and outside . The description of this property is underrated. You have no need to ever leave the property, there is plenty to do and see. We had a great time with our dogs wandering the property. Will stay again.

My sister and I, and our dogs, absolutely loved this cabin and we’re already planning our trip back! The property is incredible with gorgeous views and walking trails. It’s hard to find a pet-friendly affordable place, and this place far surpassed my expectations!

Trails were great as always Accommodations were spot on with the advertisement Well appointed and clean Beautiful property as well Only recommendation would be to put a better sign on the road. We arrived with trailers in tow around 11pm, dark and hard to see

Beautiful views, neat cave to hike to with a pretty waterfall. House has beautiful painting and we really appreciated the extra special touches. We really enjoyed the boat house and jumbo sized picnic table.

Great. we came in the winter. May need a 4x4 to go up the long driveway. Nice warm heat. Stocked kitchen. Washer and Dryer. Large family room. No neighbors. will come here again.

Would stay here any time.It would be amazing in spring,summer or fall.The rain and cold winter was a little bad but its an amazing place to stay.We had family there to visit.The house was really nice and pretty easy to get to.Can't wait to visit again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Beef Holler Lodge! Our 3 night stay was every bit of amazing & i was sad to leave! Everything from the cabin to the views & the attractions was great! The little pond in the backyard was also a hit for the boys. We attempted to go on the private trail but we were unable to due to a unmarked trail and not very clear of the path! We did however visit our main attraction which was Devils Bathtub as well as Littls Stoney Falls & the Bristol Caverns! I look forward to coming back in the near future ! Thank you 😊

The Lodge was an excellent base for our explorations around SW Virginia.  Charlene was easy to work with, and answered my questions promptly.   A clean well equipped home with more to offer than we could use in 4 days.  And the cave was a super jaunt!

Relaxing Stay
We had a really wonderful and quiet trip. The house is just as described and was incredibly clean on check in. My two year old loved going on the paddle boat. There's a lot of wonderful state park locations near the property, and some great trips available on the Clinch for kayaking or tubing. We also appreciated that all the little things were provided at the house (trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels etc).

A really nice getaway
We enjoyed Beef Holler Lodge and all its amenities. Our particular favorite was seeing our children learn to fish for the first time. Having a private pond with all the fishing equipment was a perk. We plan to make a return trip to the Lodge next year.

Best vacation ever!
We are a family of 4 with a couple of teens and 2 pups. This property was perfect for us! Secluded, great views, clean, super comfortable beds & couches, pond and wildlife (bring binoculars). We loved the cave with waterfall about 10 minute hike away from the boat house, a little slippery in some parts, your shoes will get wet. I can't say enough good things about it, we will definitely be back!

Home away from home!!!
Nice cabin with a great view of the property and the pond. Soft sheets, plenty of towels and loved the couches!!! Very nice and helpful owners of this property. Call or text the owners and they responded right away. The cave on the property was really neat. The pond was so clear you could see big catfish swimming around in it. I would highly recommend this cabin as a great place to stay for a mountain adventure getaway. Also a huge plus because it is pet friendly. Thanks again for making us feel at home.

Wonderful cabin in the woods
I can’t rave enough about this property. This cabin was perfect for our long weekend getaway with our 2 dogs. The property was far enough with zero cell service (which we saw as a plus!) but still close to a grocery store and big stores like Walmart. Super clean, super adorable, super quiet. We fished in the pond on the property both days and enjoyed the beautiful weather. Charlene was super helpful and accommodating. I can’t say how absolutely wonderful of a time we had.

relaxing getaway
Comfortable get away with a scenic view of their pond. The grandkids had a blast fishing in the pond and caught a couple of whopper catfish. My only disappointment was the amount of pet hair that was under all the furniture and got stirred up anytime you reclined one of the chairs. if you are allergic to pets I would not recomend.
