Spahotels in Castro Marina

'Heerlijk hotel aan zee met prachtig uitzicht. Wij hadden wel een 3 pers. superieur kamer. Het is er heel rustig en vlakbij het centrum van Castro. Ontbijt is goed.'

L’unico punto che si dovrebbe specificare è che la discesa al mare a piedi potrebbe essere un po’ faticoso per gli ultra settantenni per via dei tanti gradini da affrontare in piena estate. 'We thought our ground floor apartment was perfect for our week stay in Castro Marina. The air conditioning provided a wonderful relief from the hot weather outside! We had the most perfect location in the town being a stone's throw from the piazza. Many an evening there were events on at the piazza - a full orchestra with opera! 'The property is not walking distance to Castro as described. This should be removed from the description as you need a car to to anywhere. It has lovely views but for the price lacks the higher end facilities that we would expect e.g. the kitchen had many appliances but most were old and could do with replacing. There was ample linen though the towels were not very hard. Outside the small pool had only 2 sun beds both of which had seen better days. For a 4 bed villa 2 beds were not sufficient...

'We just finished up 1.5 weeks here, this was our first trip to Puglia. I picked this location based off outdoor view photos alone and was not disappointed! The town of Castro is lovely, very active in the evenings, all noise and happenings in the historic center can be heard from the apartment but we thoroughly enjoyed the music, events and even fireworks nearby.
