Lorna is a lovely host and makes the best breakfast with plenty of choices.
The location is approx. 15 minutes walk into Keswick and the Threkeld trail, just down the hill, make walking there better away from the traffic.
We would definitely recommend Brookfield and hope to vist again. '

The accomodation was excellent, very clean and tidy with great views. The food for both breakfast and evening meal was truly delicious and the selection of real ales was top notch. Easy to walk into Keswick along the wagonway or get the bus from right outside. Would totally recommend.'

'We had a lovely one night stay. We were warmly greeted and our room was spacious, up quite a few stairs so beware if you have heavy cases. We enjoyed a swim in the pool and used the hot tub. A well equipped gym was also available. The pool was very clean and a pleasant temperature. These facilities were all included in the room price but there is a limited timetable when you can use the pool due to lesson and member sessions.
We ate dinner at the hotel which was very tasty and well presented....

'Booked just one night as a last minute getaway. Stayed in the Penthouse which has a large blacony with spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom great. The beams are low at the edges of the room but we are both tall and managed to avoid them :) I would highly recommend this place and will be staying here again in the future.'
