'The hotel is beautiful and the staff were excellent. We checked in around 8pm to just stay the night, we weren’t related to any of the big events going on at the hotel. Unfortunately, we were placed in a room on the second floor, very close to the large event. We could hear the music thumping all night. 'I am writing to express my disappointment with both the issue I experienced during my stay and how my complaint was later represented. During my stay, there was a strong marijuana odor near my room at a non-smoking property. I immediately reported the issue to the front desk because I was traveling with my young child and was concerned about our comfort and well-being. I understand that the hotel may not have been able to identify the guest responsible. However, that was never the main issue....

'Econolodge is a budget hotel (in spite of the 150 pn) and the rooms were clean, sufficient towels. The householdstaff was friendly, the bathroom clean. There was a microwave and a fridge. We were very satisfied in spite of the noise of the ac which we switched off. At a ten minutes walk there is a good Stop n Shop'
