Pinewood Bungalow - Luxury Cabin, Kid-Friendly

Summary:
Welcome to Pinewood Bungalow! Our home is located in Catskill, NY and is the perfect getaway for friends and families to enjoy. The house itself was recently renovated to have all the modern amenities (including ones you might expect from resort hotel), but also has the thoughtful charm to be your home away from home.

The Space:
Enjoy your morning coffee by the wood burning fireplace, gazing out the windows into the lush foliage, or an afternoon cocktail al fresco on our patio overlooking the large yard surrounded by trees. We have everything you need for the perfect getaway, whether you love hiking, skiing, relaxing, cooking, adventuring or all of the above.

The Living Room is our favorite spot to enjoy in the house. Start up the wood fire place and make the house feel super cozy. Lounge on the sofa and gaze out the windows to enjoy the view of lush foliage, switch on the Smart TV (where you can easily sign into your Netflix, Hulu, or other streaming account) for movie night or the big game, or enjoy a one of our board games with your group. The living room is adjacent to the kitchen which has an island and stools for gathering around and a dining space with enough seating for your group to dine together.

Sleeping Arrangements
Pinewood Bungalow has 2 bedrooms and can sleep 4 guests. With 1 King Size Bedroom (which has a bathroom en suite), and 1 bedroom with two-twin beds, you will find room for your entire group to spread out. Our bedrooms feature Casper Mattresses, quality linens and are thoughtfully decorated. Both bedrooms have spacious closets so you can comfortably unpack for your stay. Additionally, our living room features a pull out sofa bed to sleep an additional 2 people - for a total of 6 guests.

The Kitchen
The Kitchen is equipped with all new appliances and finishes as well as cooking utensils, pots and pans, general spices, and basically all the tools you need to make morning pancakes, spaghetti Bolognese dinner, and everything in between. (Groceries not provided.) For morning coffee, there is a coffee machine, please feel free to bring along your favorite roast. You will find all the dish ware, serve ware, and drink ware you need your group to dine, but don’t worry, we have you covered with a dishwasher too.

Bathrooms
There are 2 bathrooms at Pinewood Bungalow. Off the main living area you’ll find a full bathroom, the King Bedroom has a bathroom en suite. Both bathrooms have a rain shower head and body sprayer and are stocked with toiletries, a hair dryer, and super plush towels. Also in-unit is a washer and dryer for your use

Outdoors
Step outside and you will find a front porch deck that leads you to an al fresco dining area on our wraparound deck, surrounded by nature. If BBQ-ing is your thing, we have you covered with a propane grill. An extra tank is provided in case the one there runs low and needs to be swapped out. Further out in the yard is a fire pit surrounded with Adirondack chairs for your entire group to gather around (firewood not provided).

Guest Access:
Guest can enjoy the privacy of the entire house, private deck, fire pit and seating areas around the yard.

Getting Around:
Nearest train station: Hudson – 21min drive from the house location.

Nearest bus stop: 2481 Rt 9W (Ravena Shop & Save) – 19min drive from the house location.

There are Ubers that operate in Cairo NY: Lyft, Uber Connect, Lyft XL, Uber UBERX, and Uber Pet.

Other Things to Note:
CHECK IN
The check-in will be contactless and keyless. Before you arrive, we will send you the code to the door lock.

PARKING
Please feel free to utilize the entire driveway for your vehicles throughout the length of your stay - it can hold up to 4 cars. Note that we are not responsible for personal items left in your car.

HOUSE ACCESS
The entire house is yours for the length of your stay. Feel free to enjoy the private deck, fire pit and seating areas around the yard. Please also note that there is wildlife in the area, inclusive of Deer and the occasional Black Bear or Snake.

OUTSIDE GUESTS
If you'd like to add an additional guest to the booking, please be sure to add them to the reservation or reach out to Stay at Lina team if your stay has already begun. We can typically accommodate up to the max number of guests noted on the original listing and no more. We cannot offer customer service for extra people who don’t have an official reservation through the platform, and any liability waivers won’t apply. NO PARTIES OR EVENTS

SECURITY
Stepping out of the house? Keep your belongings safe and secure by remembering to close and lock all the doors and windows before leaving the property.

CHECK OUT
Our check-out time is at 11:00 AM. Please make sure to do the dishes (it’s ok to place the remaining dishes in the dishwasher and start the cycle), take the trash out and close the door before leaving. Don’t forget to do a final walk thru of the house to make sure you haven’t left behind any personal items.

RECYCLING
Guests can leave the recycling items on a separate bag in the house. Cleaning team will take care of it after guests leave.

ITEMS LEFT BEHIND
Please note that we are not responsible for any items left behind. Lina will make every effort to search and find your forgotten items after you check out but we do not guarantee if they can be found.

FRIENDS OF MOTHER NATURE
Please note that we are located in the countryside, surrounded by trees and foliage. Although we have regularly scheduled pest control services in and around the home and yard, you are still likely to see a few insects or other living beings from Mother Nature. We ask that you do your best to keep outside doors closed as much as possible to limit the amount of outdoor creatures from sneaking in.

PETS
We love pets and allow them in our houses, but please let us know if your are bringing your furry friend(s) along. Please understand that all of our furniture and decor is new and pets are not allowed on the furniture or beds. You will be responsible for any visible wear or damage your pets may cause. The maximum number of dogs we allow is two.

REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE
We cannot guarantee against mechanical failure of heating, air conditioning, appliances, TVs/media equipment, stereo equipment or pools/spas. Please report any inoperative equipment to us promptly. We will make every reasonable effort to have repairs done quickly and efficiently. If you demonstrate that the problem persists after being given phone instructions by our team, a maintenance service professional may be dispatched. NO REFUNDS OR RENT REDUCTIONS WILL BE MADE DUE TO MECHANICAL FAILURES OR MALFUNCTIONS, INTERRUPTIONS OF UTILITIES, MAINTENANCE PROBLEMS OR CONSTRUCTION IN THE AREA. WHILE LINA WILL MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO REPAIR ANY MAINTENANCE ISSUE IN A TIMELY MANNER, IT CANNOT GUARANTEE THAT THE ISSUE WILL BE FIXED DURING A GUEST STAY, AS THE COMPANY MAY HAVE TO GO THROUGH HOME WARRANTIES. Lina will always look for alternative solutions to ensure and prioritize guest comfort.
