Renovated chalet-style sheep barn at the entrance to the village of Cauterets

Welcome to the RUSSELL Winter/Summer Barn
In an old 18th century sheepfold, completely renovated in the Pyrenean spirit, and equipped with quality equipment, located at an altitude of 1000 meters at the entrance to the village of CAUTERETS (the "best snow-covered ski resort in the world") in the heart of the Pyrenees National Park, the Russell barn offers 170 m2 of living space for 10 people, divided between:

First floor:
-1 entrance with ski rack and large storage cupboard,
-1 large living room of about 70 m2 including 1 large TV lounge, living room, fully equipped open kitchen (gas hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, pyrolysis oven, microwave oven, filter coffee maker, kettle, toaster, raclette machines), dining area (large Bigourdan table),

-1 separate toilet,

-1 laundry room with cumulus (300 liters), washing machine (13kg) and dryer.

FLOOR 1:

-1 master suite with cupboard, furnished as a 160 cm bed with shower and sink,

-1 single room furnished in 140, with wardrobe and alcove (travel cot available),

-1 single bedroom with cupboard furnished in 140 with toilet area,

-1 bathroom with bath and toilet.


FLOOR 2 (attic):

-1 large family room furnished with 1 double bed of 140 and 2 beds 80.

All this in a resolutely modern comfort that does not sacrifice anything to tradition and mountain style: wood, wood, wood...
On a 300m2 garden with terrace and outbuildings (storage of your bikes); the Russel Barn is located on the edge of the green corridor, well known to our hiking and mountain biking friends.

Towels are at your expense; optionally, night linen can be provided.
Of course, free internet; pellet stove (included in the price of the stay at a rate of 1 bag per day). Heating by inertia radiators on the first floor; electricity is billed at a rate of 0.3€/kWh.

A large parking lot is at your disposal; access to the village and the gondola is either by car (2 minutes) or by free shuttle bus (stop 50 meters away) or on foot by the green corridor in about 10 minutes.
