  • In het historische centrum van Cava de Tirreni, geplaatst in een oud gebouw begin 900. Het gebouw is het onderwerp van een recente conservatieve restauratie met de liftinstallatie voor een gemakkelijke toegang geweest. Onze instelling is de perfecte plek om hun vakantie door te brengen; Cava de 'Tirreni is de poort naar de kust van Amalfi. Het ligt op 45 km van Capodichino Salerno (8 km). Het ligt op 22 km van Amalfi, op 35 km van Positano, 28 km van Ravello, op 50 km van Paestum. De zee ligt op 2,5 km in Vietri. Het is strategisch gelegen tussen de kust van Amalfi en de belangrijkste archeologische bezienswaardigheden en mooie landschappen van Campania: Napels, Capri, Pompei, Paestum, Herculaneum, etc. In de omgeving kunt u een wandeling door de oude stad en in het bijzonder in de "Borgo Scacciaventi" gekenmerkt door bogen die plaatsen waar u kunt proeven van typische gerechten uit de traditionele Campana of genieten van een drankje in de vele bars en pubs te verwelkomen.

Wonderful location with beautiful views. Nice addition is the elevator. Plenty of space for large groups. The city market is 2 streets over and the ocean is a 15 minute drive. The host is always available wish we could have stayed longer.

Lovely apartment in an excellent location! For those who plan to cook or spend alot of time in the unit, there are few amenities (paper towels, extra toilet paper, leftover spices, etc.) Air conditioners and elevator work well, appreciated the private parking option. Blip with no hot water on our check out day, but not a deal breaker. Would definitely stay again, especially knowing what to expect. Totally walkable and safe.

Thank you for hosting us at the Donato Palace!

We had a great time! The apartment is very spacious, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The host welcomed us warmly and responded to our questions promptly. We immediately had a feeling of entering a historical palace. Checkin and checkout were easy. Great location: in the city centre, but also a short walk away from beautiful hiking trails.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit privatem Parkplatz

Wir waren zu fünft in dieser sehr schönen Unterkunft. Alles hat reibungslos geklappt und der Vermieter war sehr gastfreundlich und hat bei allem unterstützt. Optimaler Ausgangspunkt für Amalfiküste, Pompeii und Neapel. 100% Weiterempfehlung

Cava da Tirreni was great!

We loved our stay! Especially enjoyed the quaint town of Cava de Tirreni which was easily within walking distance. So many places to sit & enjoy a glass of wine, a cocktail & of course gelato!! Riccardo was a fantastic host always available to answer questions or make restaurant recommendations. Definitely would recommend!! Thanks again Riccardo 🇮🇹😊🇮🇹

Lovely apartment

Excellent location for us. We are regular European travelers who have been renting homes since 1999. Only a few hundred meters from the train station provides easy access from Napoli to Salerno. Very simple to day trip out to the Amalfi coast or go to the Salerno ferry to Capri. Riccardo was extremely helpful.

Very Special place

Loved the beautifully appointed large Apt. Had everything we needed. Restaurants,Grocery stores, shopping, Train Station 15 min. walk. All very doable by foot.

Very Nice Place

We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment. It was very spacious, clean, and equipped with anything we needed. It was close to shops, coffee bars, restaurants, and grocery stores. It was also a good location for sightseeing and activities in and around the Amalfi coast. The host, Riccardo, was excellent. The communication with him was easy and he was very helpful with any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again, and would recommend it to others

Amalfi holiday

We had a wonderful stay at Cava. Riccardo was fantastic with any question or problem that we had. He was very prompt with his replies and came down to our unit to help on a number of occasions. The location was good for buses and trains. Bus stop was about 50m away and train station was about 400m from apartment. The unit was very spacious, clean and well equipped and was a nice place to return to after a day of sightseeing.

Amazing

Thank Riccardo for all your help , we totally appreciate it all. As for the apartment it was everything I expected and viewed on line . It is spacious, clean and is in a great location. Many restaurants in walking distance, 3 grocery stories in walking distance and so is the metro!! If your looking for a place that is away from all tourist but easy to move about to Salerno , Amalfi and other great areas , this is the place !! Thank you again Riccardo.

Great location for visiting the Amalfi Coast

Riccardo was an excellent host and answered any questions we had very quickly! The property is clean and spacious and a great starting point for day trips out to the Amalfi Coast. There is a wonderful coffee shop right at the corner for coffees and breakfast pastries if you don't want to make your own. The washer/dryer is challenging for anyone not used to European styles but it was manageable. I'd say my only complaint was that the beds are extremely firm but then this is all personal preference because two of the 6 of us loved them! I'd definitely recommend this property!

Discovery of old italy

Wir waren nur ein paar Nächte, aber der Ort hat eine grosse gepflegte Altstadt in der auch einiges los ist, d.h. viele Restaurants und Bars zur Auswahl in nur 100m Entfernung von der Wohnung. Ausserdem gibt es einen gesicherten , grossen Parkplatz. Sehr praktisch in Italien wenn man mit grossem Auto unterwegs ist.. Der Verwalter ist sehr nett mit Tips und immer verfügbar für alle unsere Anliegen. TOP. Wohnung war geräumig und sehr sauber. Klimaanlage hat perfekt funktioniert.

Ideal loaction to explore Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast

This is a great location from where to explore the Amalfi Coast, away from the busy tourist areas. It is clean and well equiped. It is on the 2nd floor, but there is a lift available. There is a bus stop virtually outside the property and a train station only a few minutes walk. A supermaket is only a short walk away. It is easy to get to the beach by bus to Vietri or Salerno. Riccardo is so helpful, a dream owner; always a phone call away. He lives on the first floor, and nothing is too much trouble. Will recommend it to anyone who wishes to explore the region. Palazzo Donato, cava de tirreni

We had a great stay at this property. There were four of us and there was loads of room for us all, with plenty of room if any of us wanted some privacy. Great bathroom facilities (two bedrooms were en suite) and a lovely hot shower. Everything lovely and clean and well maintained and well equipped for self catering if we wanted. Lots of great restaurants within a short walking distance into the old town with the lovely porticos. Ricardo, the owner was wonderful and couldn’t do enough for us. We need ed a few more towels, a larger kettle, a few sharp knives …. Ricardo brought these for us very quickly. We would definitely love to stay here again! The railway station is about 15 minutes walk away and only an hour on the train to Naples one way,and about 20 minutes the other way. Very secure parking facilities. About 45 minutes in the car from Naples airport. We highly recommend this property!

großzügige moderne Stadtwohnung

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Wohnung ist sauber und jedes Schlafzimmer hat sein eigenes Bad, was uns wahnsinnig gut gefallen hat. Die Küche ist bestens ausgestattet und der große Kühlschrank mit Eiswürfelfunktion für die Kinder der Hit. Jedes Schlafzimmer und das Wohzimmer sind mit einer Klimaanlage ausgestattet. Riccardo ist ein sensibler und sehr hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Er half uns ein Problem zu lösen und tauschte umgehend einen defekten Duschkopf. Es gibt die Möglichkeit für 15 € am Tag eine sichere Tiefgarage zu Mieten. Alles in Allem sehr zu empfehlen für Familien und Gruppen die mobil sind um ans Meer zu kommen. (ca. 20 - 30 Minuten). Die wunderschöne Altstadt liegt jedoch direkt vor der Tür.

Heel goed, een echte aanrader

We have had a perfect holiday in this appartment, the appartment was comfertable, nice and clean. Also the owner was very kind. For the attention: if you want to stay in this appartment it's bettter to rent also a garage for your car. We have done this and that's perfect.
