Heerlijk hotel
Heerlijk hotel met leuke diverse terrassen. Ontbijten met een schitterend uitzicht. Het personeel was uiterst vriendelijk. Parkeren kan op een bewaakt terrein op loopafstand.

Mooi hotel met geweldig uitzicht. Ruime kamers met een heerlijk balkon. Verder kun je gebruik maken van het zwembad en serveren ze een heerlijk ontbijt. Zeker een aanrader!

AMAZING hotel with WONDERFUL staff and agreat VIEW
AMAZING! That's how I would describe this hotel. The staff is truly friendly and helps you in any way possible. Thank you so much Elena and everybody else for everything during our stay! You made our stay very comfortable. The location is wonderful... Green, serene and peaceful. The restaurant food is also very good (prices are fine... Not too expensive or cheap). We'd definitely come back. The only thing that one needs to mention is... Travel by car (free parking). It's quite a ride up to the hotel. Public transportation is very cheap (1.40 euro for bus and train from the hotel to salerno) but it takes quite some time. The staff gives you tips if you want to travel by public transport. I'd give this hotel a 9.5 out of 10. Thank you again for everything!!!

Klassiek ingericht sfeervol hotel met vleugje luxe. Schitterende ligging tegen helling van een berg met prachtige tuin en fijn zwembad. Veel privacy in omliggende tuin. Goed (luxe) restaurant met prachtig buitenterras, s'avonds één keer gegeten; was heerlijk. Kleine maar luxe kaart. Gebakken eendenborst en heerlijke creme brulee na. Ligt in de wat hogere prijsklasse. Ontbijt ook op buitenterras en erg goed verzorgd. Bio en noten aanwezig. Allerlei variaties van gebakken eieren op bestelling mogelijk. Heerlijke vakantie gehad op korte afstand van alle drukte. Voor ons de perfecte keuze omdat we niet in de drukte van de Amalfi kust wilden zitten.

Mooi uitzicht, mits je een kamer aan de “goede” kant hebt. Interieur gedateerd, goed ontbijt. Zwembad, badmuts niet nodig, badhanddoeken worden door hotel verstrekt en grote tuin. Goed gelegen voor bezoek aan Pompei en trip naar Amalfikust. (in juni bijna niet te doen; grote drukte, veel file rijden, geen parkeerplaatsen beschikbaar in de bekende plaatsjes) Bereikbaarheid hotel en bijbehorend parkeerterrein (mits de gast autosleutels afgeeft) slecht ivm smalle toegangstraat en nog smallere doorgang, hetgeen niet aangegeven wordt. Tijdens ons verblijf reed een gast daardoor schade. Tweede parkeerterrein bij hotel op 5 minuten lopen, echter geen haal- of brengservice mbt bagage. Voor ons niet voor herhaling vatbaar.

Het hotel ligt op een prachtige locatie. Ontbijt was voldoende maar geen variatie en wij waren er 9 nachten dus dan begint het wel te vervelen. De wifi werkt niet altijd en 4g hadden we geen bereik in dit gebied wat wel lastig is met google maps. Ik had gereserveerd voor een kamer met bad maar kreeg een kamer met een kleine douche. Na het bellen met de receptie bleek dat de kamers met bad niet beschikbaar waren, het personeel spreekt gebrekkig engels waardoor miscommunicatie snel ontstaat, je ziet wel dat ze hun best doen. De welness is alleen op reservering beschikbaar maar was al volgeboekt toen wij wilde reserveren op een zondag. Bij het schoonmaken van de kamer werd toiletpapier en zeep niet vervangen als het op was. Het ergste vonden wij de mieren op de kamer, in het bed, op de muren op de grond.. dit was niet prettig. De omgeving maakt eigenlijk alles goed maar ik zou hier niet nogmaals naartoe gaan als we in de buurt zijn.

Heel mooi hotel met super locatie !
Samen met mijn vriend ben ik in dit hotel verbleven. We vonden het een heel fijn hotel. Ziet er goed en verzorgd uit, ontzettend leuke en gezellige plek. Wij komen zeker terug!

Bis auf immer gleiches Frühstücksbufett kann man das Hotel für Ausflüge z.B. an die Amalfiküste empfehlen. Es liegt recht einsam in einem Bergdorf, in der unmittelbaren Nähe ist keine Auswahl an Restaurants vorhanden. Im Hotel selbst wurde das Restaurant ohne Halbpension nur am Wochenende geöffnet.

Won’t be going back.
Rooms we were allocated were dreadful. After complaining we were allocated a slightly better one but the couple we were holidaying with were given an apartment style accommodation but many issues and not comfortable. We couldn’t wait to leave. We didn’t enjoy our time there and apart from one male member of staff the rest were surly and unwelcoming. The member of staff who did at least smile recommended a restaurant in Ravello, which was superb. However he also recommended a boat trip along the Amalfi coast. £500+ and promised we would see Positano, (we did see it from way out to see), have an hour ashore in Amalfi and lunch. We had lunch at an ok beach bar but of course we paid the restaurant additionally for that. The other parts of the itinerary never happened. Just chugged up and back down the coast. As for snacks and drinks, couple of bottles of water, a shot of limoncello and a slice of cold pizza. An absolute rip off and boring. Absolutely not what we were told we would get for our £500.

We would never have imagined these words of yours, because faced with your request for a room change we did not what was possible, but the impossible (because we were almost fully booked), to give both couples a different accommodation, and having accepted the new accommodation in a positive way gave us the certainty of having done something that was appreciated by the customer. Regarding external services, we are sorry but we cannot be held responsible or have complete control of the activity. In any case, we will make sure it never happens again.

Charming place in a small village at the top of the hill, almost as a castle. Nice pool and garden. Very narrow street approaching. We tried the local pizzeria down at crossing, this were all the locals meet in the bar, very authentic.

Dear guest, our hotel is on a hill, so we can enjoy the greenery of the mountains and pleasant, relaxing views. It is marked on google maps and just look at some photos or read the reviews of other guests to understand that we are not in the city centre. We are not very close to some places, but we are certainly in a strategic point, as the motorway is 3 km away, we are 20 km from Pompeii and 6 km from Vietri which is the first town on the Amalfi coast. A few steps from us (5 minutes on foot) is the millenary Benedictine abbey, from which many paths lead to the coast. Sometimes it's really just a matter of point of view. Thank you for appreciating our services and for rating your stay with us as "nice" overall. If you would like to come back, we will be happy to welcome you again as our guests.

Excellent Expierience
It was our 2nd stop of our trip and it was my favourite stop. A true Italian experience. The mountain stay in a little town in the mountains, was fantastic!! The hotel was wonderful with really nice people at the front desk. Very helpful.

Amazing grounds to stroll or relax, quiet location with great views, excellent food, great staff with a special shout-out to Francheso, who arranged for us to charter a boat and arranged all our transportation around the area. The hotel interior was also nicely decorated in a unique style from in stark contrast from modern generic hotels. Bonus: gelato stand attached to hotel with amazing employee...Lemonchello to go with that Gelato? No problem!

Hotel is remote and NOWHERE does it mention how unaccessible the hotel is. Super narrow roads and inability to get to the reception by car. you need to park elsewhere and they send you a shuttle. Room was shabby, ancient furnitures and dust. I will never stay there again. We cut our stay short as a result.

Very nice front desk staff and clean, comfortable room. Breakfast buffet nice. This hotel is difficult to drive to due to its unique location, so use hotel provided directions, not on-line maps. Also, parking is not convenient to lobby which requires that you haul your bags up a pretty good grade for a moderate distance. There’s a pizza place also right at enterance. It’s very good and very popular at night which causes real traffic flow challenges getting to hotel parking lot.

One of the staff who welcomed us acted agitated and unprofessional when we needed help for the exact location and details of the parking and as well as the apartment unit considering I had a foot injury… the details were meant to minimize the walking on the steep hilly road with cobbled stones. She was impatient and the manner of talking to my spouse then eventually to us as well seemed discourteous. Thank you!

We are sorry if we have given the impression of having been unhelpful and kind, really our intent and our actions meant anything but. First of all, we gave you directions on the phone on how to reach us, explaining which road signs to follow, because you had difficulty with the navigator. Upon arrival, one of our colleagues looked out along the road to show you the large car park, after which one of our employees offered to move your car to the small car park which is located right in front of the entrance, and which is normally paid and instead you have been given the opportunity to park for free. We are sorry that this means being rude to you.

Hotel Scapolatiello is a wonderfully located hotel at the top of a vibrant town called Cava De Tirreni. The dinner is very good that we had. Is a multiple course menu. The staff are great and the most friendly! Would highly recommend. And the views you see of there hotel online is the exact same you see in person. Great experience!
