'We had a wonderful stay while in Porto. The location of the hotel was perfect and Ajita was very helpful and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. Although being on the top floor without a lift, the balcony was nice during the evening. There is construction happening nearby, but we were not in the room most of the time it was going on, so it didn't make a difference to us. I would stay once more if lucky enough to visit Porto again.'

'Super lokatie vlak bij centrum maar toch rustig. Super vriendelijk personeel. Schoon, fris en mooie kamers. Leuke inrichting. Super ontbijt en fijn zwembad. Beauty behandeling viel voor het geld wat tegen.'

'Het hotel is een oud gebouw dat net gerestaureerd is met een nieuwe aanbouw, en een prachtige tuin. Een paar minuten lopen van de Douro rivier, de Port kelders en de beroemde brug. Metro op tien munuten (wel klimmen!). Authentieke arbeiderswijk. Sympathiek en attent personeel. Mooie kamer, uitstekend bed en douche, veel kastruimte. Ontbijt redelijk. Mooie ontbijtruimte, maar erg vol met stoelen en tafeltjes. Buffet ook te krap en te vol.'

The made-to-order breakfast was outstanding! There are many little spots throughout the gardens where you can relax with a glass of wine and admire the views of the Douro River. '

Very high quality and comfortable mattresses (important after long walks). 6. The funicular to get to the main bridge is a leisurely 10-minute walk away. If (or when) I return to Porto, I will definitely consider this place. Traveled with my family (adults and children). One thing: if you are driving, keep in mind that the nearest parking lots only accept...
