Heerlijke plek
Super mooie plek, aardige mensen, lekker ontbijt, mooie kamer en fijn klein zwembadje. 10 min met auto van Cefalu.

Mooi uitzicht!
De onverharde weg die je de laatste 500 meter naar de accommodatie moet nemen is erg slecht. Ontvangst erg vriendelijk en het ontbijt goed. Matras was slecht en het koelkastje maakte enorm veel kabaal en de televise werkte niet. Kamer is Klein, zelfs geen stoel aanwezig maar de ligging is prachtig.

Dejligt sted med den flotteste udsigt. Værten er meget imødekommende, og vi følte os rigtig godt behandlet. Stedet kan absolut anbefales.

Amazing view on a hill behind the city overlooking the sea. Francesco was a great host and always happy to provide suggestions for restaurants and even parking tips for town. Great home cooked breakfast in the morning and friendly dogs!

Fantastic stay
A wonderful B&B hosted by the excellent host, Francesco. Francesco gave us great local tips (including restaurants, parking spots, beaches) and was always welcoming and trying to ensure that we had a great stay which we did. We booked two rooms and both had a wonderful sea view on the hill, ample free parking, delicious and fresh breakfast and security gates. Place is located in a quiet location on the hill above the town which is only a 5 minute drive. Highly recommend!

Pavillon adossé à la montagne avec superbe vue sur la mer.. Agréable terrasse pour lire ou se reposer. Après Palerme, quiétude appréciée. Petit déjeuner sur la terrasse agréable.

Très belle emplacement, au calme avec une magnifique vue sur la mer. L'accueil est chaleureux, les chambres sont propres et confortable. Un excellent séjour !

Stunning property!
We arrived a bit earlier than expected but Nino was able to greet us within about 15 mins and allowed us entry onto the property where we could park and check in. The room was a bit small but this is a classic B&B so we had use of the entire kitchen and property; found ourselves later in the evening able to have a private dinner overlooking a gorgeous sunset from their veranda. The views at this property are stunning as is the entire town. You can't walk to anything from this hotel (and it's located down a really bumpy dirt road so have a solid car!) but we drove into town and found parking quite easily so wasn't a big deal. Nina made us an amazing breakfast the next morning which we took on the terrace overlooking the gorgeous vista. This place should be a must if you're passing through this gem of a town.....and as a bonus, if you love dogs like we do, there are two that can be seen on the property-Tomo and Kira; two of the cutest friendliest dogs around!

Relaxing stay in picturesque setting
We had a wonderful time at Le Ginestre.It was a beautiful setting and our host was very welcoming. The room opened on to a lovely courtyard.

We stayed one night and while the accommodation was fine if basic, access was our main concern. I did not appreciate the rough dirt road, our small hatchback was just ok over the worst section which is the first 250m off the main road. Anything more sporty would struggle. It is interesting at night! The staff were friendly although we had some communication issues when we arrived, the owner was not about to allow us in the main gates. It probably works out better if staying for a few days, other reviews have covered other points.

Follow the road to the top of the hill and stay in this quaint B&B overlooking the sea. We were warmly greeted and enjoyed a fresh breakfast. There is no air conditioning and the dogs barking can sometimes break the tranquility of the place.

Fantastic B & B with a great host and breakfast!
Nino invited us with open arms. What a great host! He informed us about the local attractions and sights to see. The B & B was high on a hill and overlooked the sea. Nina prepared a fantastic breakfast. This was not to be missed! We slept well as both the room was so quiet at night and the bed was extremely comfortable. We had a car on this trip and I would think that this would be necessary for those visiting. The B & B grounds, building itself, and outdoor spaces were perfect. On visiting Cefalu again we would be very happy to again stay at Le Ginestre.

Liebevoll gepflegtes Haus im Außenbereich
Schöne Unterkunft die etwas außerhalb liegt und liebevoll vom Senior-Chef gepflegt wird. Bei Interesse erzählt er gern über die Flora in dem Garten. Wir durften z.B. von den gerade reifen Maulbeeren kosten, die wir bislang nicht kannten. Danke schön. Leider ist die Zufahrt über den unebenen Schotterweg (ca 500 Meter) etwas beschwerlich. Klimaanlage gibt es keine, aber einen Deckenventilator. Die Dusche ist leider etwas klein.

Idyllic retreat in the mountains overlooking the sea at Cefalu. Quiet and relaxing environment. Great breakfast!, you can even use the kitchen facilities if you want. Very welcoming and friendly staff.

Beautiful and quietly situated B&B
We had a lovely and very comfortable stay in a quietly situated B&B overlooking the town of Cefalu. Our hosts were very kind and caring, preparing us breakfast (tasty omelet and crepes, fruit, etc.) and staying for a nice chat. The house and the room were spotless and tastefully decorated and private as well as secure parking was available. There's a lovely terrace to sit on, a great and fully equipped kitchen for cooking and lots of space for kids to play. We absolutely recommend staying at B&B Le Ginestre and will be back if we're ever in the area. Cefalu is only a 5-minute drive away and to get around you will need car. Little advice: Don't use the tight and unpaved road Google Maps offers to drive up there, there's a regular public road leading all the way up to the B&B - call the owner in advance in case you need instructions. Thank you for a very relaxing stay!

Das Haus liegt wunderbar abgelegen mitten im Wald oberhalb von Cefalu. Man sieht aufs Meer, der Garten hat englischen Rasen, Rosenbüsche und zwei große Terrassen zum Frühstücken und Relaxen. Ein älteres Ehepaar betreut die Gäste sehr liebevoll und das Frühstück ist außergewöhnlich gut und alles selbst gemacht. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und sind ungeplant ein zweites Mal wieder hingefahren, weil es so besonders schön, sauber und nett war.

If we could give it 6 we would. Francesco made us extremly welcome on arrival even though it was after midnight and he had to come and find us. We settled in to a comfortable room and the next morning discovered the magnificent views from the terrace. The whole stay was a joy with a lovely family on site, a beautiful place and of course Maria. Maria who made wonderful tasty breakfasts and brightened our mornings with her lovely smile and chatter. Joka ei kaipaa kaupungin hälinää ja iltamenoja, vaan iltarauhaa, aamiaista terassilla, josta näkymä merelle kukkojen kiekuessa alarinteessä ja aasin "hirnahtelua". Erittäin hyvä lähes henkilökohtainen aamupalatarjoilu. Parempi olla oma auto käytössä. Kaupungille n. 4km rinnettä alas ja ylös.

Top-Unterkunft
Die Unterkunft Le Ginestere können wir nur bestens empfehlen. Das Zimmer, das wunderbare Frühstück, der Blick von den beiden Terrassen, die Gastfreundschaft und die absolut ruhige Ruhe laden zur Erholung ein. Wir haben im Le Ginestere 5 Tage gewohnt und wären gerne noch länger geblieben. Absolut top!

Fantastic owners serve a great breakfast
Really great place to stay at. The owners are fantastic and very service minded. The road to the house is a little special, but don't worry. When you finally arrive to the house, the view is one of the best in the area. Would definitely book my accommodation at this place again if I was in the area.
