'What a little gem Hill End Lodge was. We arrived late at night - cold and tired. John welcomed us warmly and Sue and Laura cooked up a storm for us. The place was warm and welcoming. Food and drinks were excellent and the atmosphere was just beautiful. Cabin was set in the most beautiful surroundings and cosy and comfortable. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return. Thanks all. 'Nothing to complain about here. Bed was very comfy. Everything was clean and walls freshly painted. Parking was easy. We were towing and there was plenty of room out back for turning and parking. We would stay again. '

'Don’t book with 3rd party as they put you in the smallest , noisiest and claustrophobic window view showing the rooftop noisy generator and aircon unit. The card malfunction mutiple time for entry. The ironing board cover is pretty dirty and you won’t literally place anything in on top of it let alone ironing your clothing. Expedia need to review its relationship with the hotel as they need to improve the type and quality of room allocated for Expedia members'
