'I arrived and the staff was NOT friendly at all throughout my stay of 2 nights. Walked past several employees with no acknowledgment, when I went to check out she did not ask how my stay was nor did she say “good morning”. Dinner was horrible, they were out of several menu items and the burnt our baked potatoes. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone and will definitely not stay myself. Hampton Inn would have been a better choice.'

'This property rates at the TOP of the list. Its as elegant as the Greenbriar and Homestead in terms of the property and rooms. It is stunning. Martha is a wonderful host and she is so elegant in her special touches....antiques, crystal, place settings, even in the room crystal glasses with little doilies on top with crystals weighted down. Magnificent Crystal Chandeliers. Historic touches everywhere. You will want to come back! '

'There was no usable pool. It was closed with no plans of re-opening despite being advertised as having a pool on the listing. Quality Inn recently took over and the hotel was still undergoing renovations. View of the Ohio River was nice. No furniture in the room besides the bed and dresser. Rooms were newly renovated. '
