'The hotel was in a great location downtown, with many restaurants and bars closeby. The room was quiet and comfortable, although a little stuffy. The a/c just couldn’t keep up with 100 degree weather outside. The hotel is older and in need of some renovation (carpets), and our shower had not been cleaned prior to check in (hair stuck to the walls, and on the drain, yuck!). However, hard to beat the price for the location!'

The property is in a good location to walk to Great American Ballpark (it takes about 10 minutes).
I liked the valet service. Made it very easy to pull in and unload.

The management company who rents units out for travelers is different from the company who owns and operates the building. 'To start, we have stayed at many Hampton Inn Hotels. Don't stay at this one! The hallways felt like they were 80 degrees. We saw a housekeeper who we thought was going to pass out from the heat. Our room ended up being cool enough for us, but other guests were experiencing major issues with the A/C. Our room did not have a refrigerator, a microwave or a safe. These are basic items that any hotel room should have. The ice maker on our floor was broken for the entirety of our stay (July 3-5, 2026)...

'We were directed to valet park when arriving this was not mentioned when booking the hotel room only that parking was available not that it was valet only. Anyway, a very expensive pair of sunglasses were stolen from our car. We have reached out to the hotel but at this point it does not seem to be encouraging that they are going to do anything about it which is extremely disappointing seeing how it was over 300.00 for a 1-night stay.'

'Check in was a nightmare. Parking garage has a short in the keypad. You pay for parking and have to be routed through multiple building to reach your actual apartment. There are zero signs in the parking area to navigate the property and no one but an 800# to ask for help. We paid for non refundable room and still left early! No price on peace of mind. No toddler friendly bars out the front door.'
