'The vineyard and grounds are beautiful and well kept, and the local cat is very friendly, and greeted us when we arrived. While the kitchenette was small, it was useful. There is no longer a toaster oven, as the photo shows, but instead a separate toaster and a microwave. The pots and pans are stainless, and adequate for reheating and light cooking. The location is great! It's just a few minutes from some nice shops in Aptos Village, and Nisene Marks State Park, where we hiked a couple times.'

'Wij kregen een heel warm welkom in de Bacara en hebben genoten van ons bezoek. Iedereen staat klaar om je bezoek zo aangenaam en interessant mogelijk te maken. Zwembaden en restaurants zijn fantastisch en er is een makkelijke wandeling naar het strand. Strand zou mogelijk iets beter opgeruimd kunnen worden. Makkelijke uistapjes net de auto naar Santa Barbara en Cold Spring Tavern. Onvergetelijk bezoek voor familie met jonge kinderen!'
