'The property is located in Uvita which is a small quite area. The beach is not that easily accessed. The actually property was less than advertised. There are centipedes galore... I would go on a centipede hunt every night to remove them from the condo... and there were two cockroaches in the condo. There is not a tv, very few cooking utensils, pots, etc and the lack of air conditioning was a problem for the living room. We had all the doors/windows open one day and that night I was eaten by...

'A nice house that has fallen into disrepair. No response to maintenance requests, couldn’t take a proper shower in the luxurious bathroom because the shower head blew apart from air & water pressure. Then had no water at all the following day due to a problem in a downstairs unit. This is hardly a resort as they call it. And access to the beach is incorrect and not honored by the management of that property.'

'Good location between Ojochal and Uvita. Driveway into property not well marked, especially at night. Some deep ruts at turn into driveway, so be careful if not in SUV. Mono is a big unit, with nice balcony. Unfortunately, lack of screens on windows keeps it from cooling in afternoons and during the night. Nice A/C for the bedroom. Pro tip: you can walk to Villa Leonor at Ballena Beach Club. For the price of lunch or dinner, you can access Playa Ballena, one of the nicer beaches in the area.'

'Starting off from after I booked and paid. There was no communication from the owner about how to check in. I messaged them on WhatsApp multiple times on my way there and gave me no response. I called and he messaged me a vague response of how the unit is on the third floor. Asked if the place was unlocked and he said yes. But the unit was locked and there was lockbox had to call him back twice to finally get the lockbox code. There was blood on a towel in the bathroom and they wouldn’t replace...

'Everything about this property was perfection. It was not only beautiful, but in a safe location, and close to every activity that we were looking for. Communication by the owner and property manager made our stay simple and enjoyable. Couldn't recommend it highly enough.'

'We really enjoyed our stay, if you use the pool you will get to see iguanas, hummingbirds and even some macaws flying. It is a quite place so it is the perfect place to relax and disconnect. The only feedback is that it would be great to add a grater to the kitchen and that you will need to be careful with the house electric wiring system. We couldn't use the hairdryer supplied because it seems that we were going to lose the power. As a note, the listing states that there is a washing machine...
