'We were very happy with our stay at Casona 1914. It's a lovely hotel with Great staff and very spacious and comfortable rooms--and very clean! We were recovering from our arduous trip, and one day we just stayed in the room almost all day, and it felt pleasant. The coffee at breakfast was really good, and there were several choices on the breakfast menu. When it came time to leave they gave us a late checkout which really helped with our schedule for the day. We were able to walk down to...

'Fantastic stay at La Basilica Quito. Great location with good security, very friendly owners and staff. English spoken. Very clean and nice rooms, comfortable beds and bathroom with all amenities. Some of the rooms are located in-house, which makes them a bit stuffy due to lack of ventilation, but this is minor. Right in the hart of Old Quito at 5 minutes walk from historic square with cathedral, museums, presidential palace, and also the National Basilica. '

'Hoewel een kort verblijf van 2 nachten, een prima tijd gehad in het in historische centrum zeer centraal gelegen hotel. Ook van het straatverkeer geen last, mede omdat de straat relatief smal is. Bijzonder was dat die Zondag verplicht binnenblijven was vanwege de census( volkstelling) Uitsluitend militairen en politie op straat. Echter met het fijne hotel en de goede maaltijden was het niet echt rampzalig. Ook was het bijzonder dat het hele land vanaf vrijdagmiddag tot maandagmiddag drooggelegd...

El hotel tiene 16 habitaciones, distribuídas en 3 niveles, no cuenta con elevador. Tiene un restaurante en el top con vistas al "Panecillo", la atención es esmerada, amigable y buscan dar servicio personal. La habitación esta dotada de cobertores calienes y lo necesario para tu comodidad.'

'Loved the hostel. Has the historic rustic vibe. Have daily events and walking tour on board schedule. In or around the old historic town. Not walking distance from your typical Holiday Inn and restaurants but closer to the typical Ecuadorian life style and food. Its like a maze inside the hostel with creaking wood floor.'
