'We chose this for an overnight stop, with our pet furry friend, on our way from Santander to Portuguese Silver Coast. Pet friendly and self-catering appealed to us. The communication and the welcome to the lovely property, from Sandra, was exceptional. She went out of her way to show us the accommodation and walk us through the pretty village to the local restaurant, telling us a little about the place as we went. 'The appartment had everything we needed. We were able to cook for ourselves. It was very clean and had lots of space to hang and store clothing if you wanted to unpack. It is 2 minutes from the beach (great placeto see the sunset) with a grocery store across the street. There is a great bike rental shop a few streets over and the couple are amazing They were very helpful in giving us directions. '

'Beautiful cottage, very clean, big enough for 2 people, c/w pull-out sofabed if required. Walking distance to local town ~15mins, all uphill. You have to drive to Monsanto though, another 10 mins away. The driveway to this cottage is very, very narrow - you can only drive 1 vehicle at a time, not for the inexperienced nor faint of heart. It is NOT a one-way system either, beware.'
