'Idyllische plek en leuk om wat langer te blijven. Galena is zeker de moeite waard. Wij waren op doorreis en konden daardoor niet van alle faciliteiten profiteren. Wel hadden we in mei veel last van de muggen (in het Engels ‘Gnats’).'

'As I had found that this property was once owned by my 3X great granduncles I was fascinated by the history and walked in their footsteps. As I descended the original, narrow stairs with the low hand rails I imagined the original women in their high button shoes and hoop skirts more gracefully than me maneuvering them daily. It was a pleasant step back in time with it's antique atmosphere and original structure. It was my 48th wedding anniversary and staying at a family home made it even more...

'The Cloran Mansion was the perfect stay for our little babymoon getaway. We stayed in Anne’s room which was just enough space for us two. The room came stocked with water and there’s a community area with a Brita, microwave, ice and coffee machines. The most impressive part of all were the two breakfasts we had. Paul and his team went above and beyond and everything was so delicious! Definitely would stay here again and looking forward to it! '

'Prachtig complex in zeer goede staat. Ik heb bijzonder genoten van het heerlijke terras aan een prachtige, ruim aangelegde achtertuin. De kamer was zeer ruim. De gashaard op de kamer komt mij over als geheel overbodig, maar misschien is dat in de winter anders. Het stadje Galena is een fraaie bezienswaardigheid.'
