net en leuk ingericht hotel met mooi terrasje
Helaas (te) laat in de avond aangekomen om nog te eten op het mooie terrasje onder de bomen. Lekker geslapen in een nette kamer met airco. De kamers en het hotel en terrasje zijn met liefde ingericht. Heel goed verzorgd ontbijt in de ochtend.

Prima overnachtingshotel op doorreis
Gezellig familiehotel. Wij werden uitermate vriendelijk -in de stromende regen- ontvangen door de hoteleigenaar. Ondanks late tijdstip van aankomst (het restaurant was al gesloten) regelde de eigenaar nog een maaltijd voor ons. Zelden zo'n gastvrijheid meegemaakt als in dit hotel. Zeer zeker een aanrader! Ook de hotelkamer, in ons geval een 4 persoons familiekamer, was prima.

Great accommodation just outside of Como
The apartment feels homely and looks very welcoming. Staff is friendly and service is excellent. Parking is limited but sufficient. Highly recommended.

Very nice place
This is a family-run hotel, with very warn hosts. The couple and a young man run the show. The entrance to this cafe+inn is greeted by some very warm and attractive pieces of furniture and LED lighting. The ground floor is basically the cafe and the rooms are all on the upper floors with limited parking at the rear of the property. The host is very friendly and was ready to provide useful information about the town, places to go. The ground floor cafe is not open for lunch but for breakfast and dinners (both of which are paid and not included in your room tariffs) The rooms are very clean and comfortable beds to sleep. The bathrooms are slick and modern with eco-friendly packaged toiletries with natural ingredients. Property is centrally located and easily walkable from town centre, ferry station and beautiful villas around. Parking is charged at $10 per night but is needed as there are no off-street parking options around. The property is beautified by ivy running all around the cafe, which itself is decorated with plush wooden furnishings and trailing LEDs. It has got some beautiful chandeliers in the cafe. Coffee at the cafe was delightfully tasty!

The hotel staff was amazing and helped us every time we had a question or curiosity about the area. It is a beautiful space, very cozy and welcoming. Plenty of privacy in a quiet area. Easy walk to the lake. We will stay here again if we come back!

Wonderful choice
The staff was very friendly and understanding. We arrived late in the afternoon, and they managed to find a baby bed for out child. The restaurant was excellent. We enjoyed a delicious meal in the terrace which has an amazing leafy canopy. The room was comfortable and spacious. I hope we can come again very soon! I recommend this hotel.

The hotel was beautiful family-owned venue and the staff were very courteous and friendly. They understood english and even tried to teach us some basic italian phrases. The location was perfect for us, it was easy to go visit the lake (was clos or travel to other towns via buses. The restaurant side was also romantic and dishes tasty.

Beautiful hotel with a lively garden cafe area. Staff was very friendly. Our only issue was parking and that was complicated by the language barrier because we don’t speak Italian. Parking was available in a very limited amount for an extra charge.

It was comfortable but I was there over the weekend and they had no cook, so there was little that I could eat due being diabetic. There was just a choice of yogurt, ham and disgusting cheese..

The Hotel San Giuseppe is in a quiet area of Cernobbio but within easy walking distance of the town centre. The ferry terminal is just 12 minutes’ walk away and provides rides to most towns/villages at the southern end of Lake Como. The ferry to Bellagio for example takes just under 2 hours. Como itself is only 4.5 km away and we walked there and back with ease. The proprietor Maurizio was always on hand to ensure things ran smoothly, provide advice, and generally made our weeks stay thoroughly enjoyable. The restaurant areas are tastefully decorated and dinner in the garden area was very pleasant. The food is excellent, and we found that we intentionally headed back to the hotel for most of our dinners. Due to our late booking, there was only 1 room available. It was equipped with TV, WIFI, AC, small balcony, ensuite with walk-in shower, hairdryer, safe and towels and free toiletries. Being the last room available, our third-floor room was smaller than we would normally take, but perfectly adequate and commensurate with the price. Limited parking is available. Whoever provides the star rating for this hotel need to re-evaluate as it deserves far more. I would recommend the hotel and restaurant and I look forward to staying there again. Hyggeligt hotel
Dejligt lille familiedrevet hotel lidt tilbagetrukket i Cernobbio. Særdeles venlig og gæstfri vært. Værelset havde en fin størrelse og var rent og pænt. Til hotellet hører en god og hyggelig restaurant og gårdhave. Vi spiste aftensmad der to gange - det kan anbefales.

I just stayed here while planning a wedding in the area over the weekend and had the most amazing stay! This place is one of the most clean and comfortable hotels I have stayed in recently, I seriously could not find one thing to complain about. The location is perfect, walking distance to many restaurants, the main town center & lake. They also have an AMAZING restaurant on the lower level of the hotel with the most beautiful ambiance! The owner was so kind, he helped me when I had a flat tire and had to leave for work, he assisted me in getting it fixed while I was gone all day and arranged a taxi for me to get where I needed to go. I would rate higher if I could - everything was perfect! Thank you!

Fantastiskt hotell
Bodde på detta fantastiskt mysiga hotell sista natten på vår resa runt Comosjön. Trevlig personal och en helt underbar restaurang som var lika fint som en inredningsbutik. Maten var nog bland det bästa vi ätit, rekommenderar att boka bord eftersom det var en populär restaurang. Kommer absolut att återvända hit, längtar redan tillbaka till Comosjön.

Excellent value for money
The hotel is very well located in the centre of Cernobbio, a short walk from the lake. Our room was a generous size with a small balcony. Although the furnishings are quite basic, it was comfortable with good wardrobe space, a number of sockets etc. The bathroom was also quite spacious with a very good shower. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was typically Italian with a choice of coffee and a good selection of delicious pastries. All in all a pleasant stay and excellent value for money.
