'Great service. Location was wonderful. No heater in the room but had good down blankets on the beds. Older rooms but clean.
There are common areas to hang out in with others but a 10p noise rule.
Allowed us to fill up water bottles with filtered water.
The only con I have would be that the reception person told us that they could not use American credit cards and we had to pay in cash. No problem but would have liked to know in advance to ensure we had enough cash.
Would stay again.'
'Marcelo and his family were absolutely fantastic. Helped our family of 4 get a few days of laundry cleaned for an amazing price. Coordinated a taxi for us on the morning we left to get to the train station on time. Breakfast was amazing and they took great care in everything regarding the hotel.'
'The place was good and relaxing but it is away from town. No activities in hotel. Good if you want to relax before or after machu pichu. Room is clean and has good views. Breakfast was nice'
'This was the highlight of my trip. Staying at Lizzy Wasi was like staying at a silent retreat or a private oasis, with children! This is a family-oriented hotel, however most of the guests left during the day for excursions, so there was plenty of time for quiet walks on the grounds and laying on the available couches with my book. The room was very clean. Good water pressure and a beautiful balcony for me to sit with a cup of coffee or tea. Word of advice, bring your own thermos and grab some...
'This hotel exceeded all my expectations. The grounds were beautiful, and the accommodation was superb. A hiking trail was adjacent to the property which provided a panorama vista of the Sacred Valley. I will definitely say here again when I visit the Sacred Valley.'
'Good location clean. Unfortunately even the slightest street noise is audible in the room. Same for light and noise from the hallway. Very friendly staff.'
'A decent, but not luxurious hotel. Well situated, and free continental breakfast was included. Somewhat noisy in the early evening due to proximity of the main square but quieted down at night.'
'As a local, he shared wonderful recommendations and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience.
When my friend and I experienced altitude sickness, Darghen arranged a private taxi tour for us so we could explore at our own pace and return to the hostel whenever we needed. This was far more comfortable than joining a standard group tour, and we were very grateful for his help.
The breakfast was one of the freshest we have ever had. Much of the produce is harvested directly...
'Clean room excellent views from the rooftop. Freshest papaya ever with our breakfast every morning. Original part of town made it even more authentic. Cobblestone street a short walk from the main square.'
'There was no water in the taps/shower on day 1. The lady at reception knew about it in the night itself about the water problem when we checked in but never tried to sort out or arrange anything. Next day morning when we were rushing to catch our train, we realised there's no water. Next day, she said it's all sorted but when we reached in night it was all cold water. Don't recommend to anyone.'
'The service, the food, and concierge service is amazing. The property itself is beautiful. The staff is great. Bruno is an amazing host. They really take care of you and want you to have a great experience. I booked several activities with their concierge service after coming from Machu Picchu. They accommodated some last minute requests and I am so happy that I used their concierge service instead of looking elsewhere to explore the Sacred Valley. They have the best communication and I...
