'Amazing hotel and amazing staff!!! I would definitely come back here with my family. The only thing that was a bit inconvenient is that it’s located quite a bit away from the city centre so you have to take a taxi every time you want to go do something in town. But it’s super quiet here!'

'The 'muchachos' were very helpful and responsive to requests. They speak both English and Spanish. They organised taxis as needed, were very flexible to time of serving meals, and provided advice to seeing the sights. Rooms were clean the the place felt very comfortable and welcoming. 'While my check-in at Kaaro Hotel was smooth, the rest of my stay was disappointing. I would not recommend this hotel for two main reasons: Water Issues: The hotel controls hot water access to the rooms. I was unable to get a hot shower after a long day, and more frustratingly, there was neither hot nor cold water available for my early morning excursion. 'The hotel was well located and well kept. The beds were nice and the continental breakfast was good. Cesar was wonderful! What a nice man and he was so helpful. Gave us ideas of things to do and helped us book a trip to the floating islands. Also helped us sort out the cryptic emails we received about our departing bus changes when we left. He was wonderful and made the stay much better'

'We had to beg to have the room cleaned daily and to have towels and toilet paper. They looked offended we asked. They came once to clean the room and we were taking a late afternoon nap. The came in without knocking at the door… Don’t take a bath the water smells like sulfur or rotten eggs. If you take shower, be aware your TP is going to be soaking wet and that the whole floor is going to be wet also. The soap / shampoo distributors are not in the shower, but 5 ft away!
