'This was a very old style hotel that had been kept very good order in keepingwith its age our stay was very enjoyable with a lovely swim in the outdoor heated pool, the breakfast in my opinion was faultless lovely good and very well presented with a good choice to choose from we wouldn't hesitate to stay at knoll house again '

The food is very good pub fayre and there are interesting specials. On Friday and Saturday delicious pizzas are also served, cooked in the outdoor wood fired pizza oven Breakfast is included with the room and there are a good variety of choices with quality ingredients. Service was a joke, staff were friendly enough but not experienced and incompetent.
To call this a Restuarant with rooms is an insult to the concept. It was not even up to a gastro pub standard. when I asked which cheese was an the cheeseboard I was told " a white one, a blue one and cheddar!

"Helaas geen kidsarea, terwijl die wel op de website staat. Ook het ontbijt was niet oké. De ene kamer was ruim, koelkast aanwezig, wat erg fijn was. De kamer van onze vrienden was helaas in de kelder, met maar 1 raam en geen koelkast. Badkamer veel loshangende onderdelen. Helaas liep het putje van de douche niet goed door, bij beide kamers. Al met al zat het er van een afstand goed uit, maar daar is het ook mee gezegd. Het zwembad is lang niet vernieuwd, er staat nog een andere hotelnaam binnen. Water is warm, maar niet schoon. Een beetje meer aandacht ook aan de buitenkant van het hotel en buiten bij het zwembad kan geen kwaad. "
