Serene escape
Beautiful house, incredibly clean and well maintained, with a beautiful view. Excellent hosts. Very well stocked, particularly the coffee bar and kitchen. Really, we felt like personal friends of the host. Plenty of books and games for all ages. Our family of four was very comfortable and had a wonderful weekend away from the city. Can’t wait to return!

Beautiful and quaint cottage
Loved our 2 night stay at Cedar Hill cottage. Secluded off the main road on a beautiful piece of property. Selena was a gracious host who was readily available to answer any questions we had. This cottage is full of amenities that we thoroughly enjoyed. Just wish we could have stayed longer.

Repeat stay
The layout of this house is fun for my kids—with the loft and the spiral staircase—and works really well for my family. This was our second time to stay at Cedar Hill Cottage and we enjoyed it just as much as last year. The yard is well-kept and great for playing catch and paper airplane competitions.

My husband and I decided on a weekend getaway for my birthday . This place was perfect. It was clean, quiet, with just enough room. A small family of 4 could rent this place. I will definitely want to rent here again.

Great Cabin!!!
Our stay at this property was excellent. Nice quiet location and a beautiful cabin. All items in the property were top shelf, from the furniture to the faucet. Great communication with owner and I would recommend this property to anyone needing somewhere to stay in the Chamberburg area.

Great Quiet Weekend
My boyfriend and I had a lovely, quiet weekend at the Cedar Hill Cottage. We stayed for 2 nights over a weekend and everything was clean and well maintained. Check in was a breeze and the house was well stocked with neccesities. The surrounding area was really pretty as well, with great local restaurants and a relatively close drive to a few state parks where we went hiking. Would definitely recommend a stay here!

Fantastic Getaway Cottage
Beautiful, very well kept up vacation home in a quiet rural setting. House was very clean, with up to date kitchen and appliances, spacious master bedroom, and fantastic loft bedroom with great view across the valley (and the sunrise, if you like to wake up early). Host was very helpful and easy to reach when there was some uncertainty about our plans. Thoroughly enjoyed our 6 nights there and definitely hope to return soon!

Great property, could use some upkeep
Let me start by saying the property was beautiful and the location wad lovely. There was some upkeep that could have been done. Lots of bugs in the upstairs bathroom light fixture. The hand towel holder came off the wall a couple times in the upstairs bathroom also. There was an item still in the washer and dryer when I went to do laundry. The main floor shower has a slow drain and by the time you finish your shower the water level was up past your ankles. Hand soap being watered down. Just some small things that could be improved to make it a 5 star place. The owners were very kind to check on us to make sure we got in ok.

Enjoyed a long weekend here while taking our son to scout camp nearby. The house is well-equipped, clean, plenty of space with the living room, large basement, loft bedroom with desk (looked like a good workspace), and first floor bedroom with sitting area. We had breakfast at the table on the sunny porch and loved the pretty views from the cathedral windows.

Peaceful getaway
We enjoyed our stay immensely--including the peaceful atmosphere, comfortable, clean accomodations, and well-equipped kitchen. It was perfectly cozy to play games and read by the gas fireplace on a few chilly April days after a walk on the quiet lane. The yard was great for playing catch. Unfortunately, we did get the wrong lockbox code from Vrbo, which made getting in initially difficult, but that was a minor hiccup. When we left, our sons said they hoped we could come back again sometime!

This property is a gem!
We loved our stay in this cottage! Every detail was perfect- from the ease of check-in to the fire pit outside! It was luxury in a rustic setting! The setting is very private and my children loved watching the cows visit across the street while sitting on the inviting front deck. Inside the house, anything we may have forgotten at home was covered. And the cottage is clean and beautifully furnished. We enjoyed every minute here. We will be back!!

Another Wonderful Experience
This was my 2nd time here (first time was in 2009), and 12 years later it’s just as clean and beautiful as the first time around! The pictures are very accurate. The house is situated far from the street, so there’s a very quiet, peaceful, secluded feel to the property. The amenities offered are much better and more generous than most 5-star hotels. Check-in & check-out were easy and the hosts gracious and responsive. I wish I could stay there all year round!!

The house is nicely renovated and very clean, with a well-equipped kitchen. The view of fields through the large front window is beautiful. Although there were only 2 of us, the house could comfortably fit a family, with room for everyone to have some space. Easy communications with the owner and check-in process!

True Feel of Chambersburg
You get the true feel of Chambersburg at this home. Nestled in a quiet location with a beautiful view of rolling hills and farmland. Perfect home for 2 or a family. Close to everything, but secluded for an intimate outside cookout on their grill or inside with a good size great room. The house was newly remodeled and extremely clean. Had everything you needed to feel like home and lots of towels. Will definitely stay here next time I'm in Chambersburg.

Everything was great. We couldn't figure out how to properly use the tv. We weren't there that much so we didn't miss it. The toaster needs to be updated. Overall, I give it a good rating.

Cedar Hill was delightful. So close to everything and so far away. My wife said to mention the towels. Big, fluffy, and boundless amounts. Try the creamery a short ride away. Would not hesitate to return or to recommend.

Wonderful cottage, very modern and with all amenities of home. Serene location with nice scenery. Morning & evening view from the loft is a treat, warmth of the gas log wood stove/fireplace in lower level was an additional treat. Absolutely perfect!
We had planned a guys weekend ( father, son and son-in-law) to see the Gettysburg battlefield and the museums. Perfectly kept cottage with all of the comforts of home. Excellent communication before arrival and once we arrived a quick question was responded to via a phone call. You will love this place!
