La perfection est ici
Magnifique hôtel proche du village de Brantôme et de la grotte de Villars. L’hôtel est superbe, tout comme le parc, la piscine. La restauration est étoilée et les petits-déjeuners excellents. Le personnel et l’ambiance sont la représentation même du luxe à la française. Tout y est authentique et discret, apaisant et préservé ! C’est une expérience unique et fabuleuse que nous avons vécu et plus retrouvé depuis bien longtemps Merci au Moulin du Roc

This is a fabulous property with notable food (one rosette Michelin star and soigne cuisine) and an enchanting setting on a stream with sn active mill. The gardens, patios and interiors, including the room are charming and comfortable. Gracious and helpful staff...truly a magical spot.

Ein sehr hübsches, ruhiges Hotel, liebevolle Details und geschaffen für einen Rückzug oder Honeymoon. Restaurant und Service im Restaurant können verbessert werden. Dennoch empfehlenswert.

We were greeted by a warm, very friendly receptionist and,without fuss, escorted to a lovely clean room. In the evening we were treated to first class food and outstanding service in the beautiful riverside restaurant.

OMG Where to start, 1st class at every turn, the setting, the grounds, the staff , the room and amenities far surpassed what I thought, and the food was an 11 out of 10 amazing and exceptionally plated, prepared and very much enjoyed Chef Alain is magical and he and his beautiful wife were amazing, thank you

Séjour d'une nuit très agréable, le site est magnifique dans un environnement calme et reposant. Personnel de l'accueil charmant et aux petits soins. Malheureusement nous n'avons pas pu tester le restaurant, notre venue correspondant à la journée de repos du personnel.

Lovely hotel with great personal service. After our 2 night hotelstay at Moulin du Roc we stayed at a 5 star hotel in Biarritz, but we would definitely have rated Moulin du Roc 5 star instead as it was even better! The surroundings were alright and there is a small town close to Moulin du Roc but we mostly enjoyed just being at the hotel! Nice poolarea too just as in the pictures.

Enastående!!! En oas och lisa för själen!
En fantastisk oas vid floden Dronne, 6 km från Brentôm. Mölla byggd 1660 och i bruk fram till 1955. Köpt på 1960- talet och sen dess drivet som hotell och restaurang av samma familj. 15 rum och restaurangen har 1 stjärna i Guide Michelin. Det går utmärkt att äta där i shorts o sandaler! Otroligt vänlig, hjälpsam o kunnig personal. Pool finns och lämpligt även för barn. Djur tillåtna. Vi kommer absolut åka tillbaka till denna fantastiska pärla!

Serenity and elegance throughout this hotel. Our room was small but comfortable and exquisitely appointed. The staff are attentive and friendly. The restaurant serves a delicious continental breakfast and dinner/lunch is a memorable experience. Superb food and knowledgable staff.

Einzigartige Oase
Das Hotel ist wunderschön gelegen und bietet nebst der einzigartigen Hotelanlage auch noch einen Tennisplatz und ein Aussenpool. Die Räume die ich gesehen habe sind nicht im "5Stern Standart" renoviert sonder haben nebst gewissem luxus immer noch Charm. Das Personal ist äusserst freundlich, besonders der Sommelier der unser Aufenthalt omnipräsent begleitet hat: Gepäck vom Auto ins Zimmer tragen über Weinempfehlung beim Abendessen bis zum Verabschieden bei der Abreise.

Beautiful historic water mill.
This hotel could be the prettiest place we have stayed. Set in beautiful grounds the hotel is full of character and historic charm . Everything immaculately kept. Pool and gardens are stunning and we found being surrounded by water very soothing. The food in the restaurant was of a very high standard, beautifully presented and the service friendly and courteous. We stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed returning to our haven after exploring Brantome and the surrounding area.

Beautiful place. Spent a good 3/4 of a day just staying at the hotel enjoying the balcony and excellent pool. Highly recommend eating breakfast outside and dinner was extraordinary!

Ausgezeichneter Aufenthalt
Super schönes Hotel mit sehr schöner Umgebung. Die Gebäude sind alt, aber sehr gut erhalten. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig mit grossem Badezimmer, das Bett war sehr gut und total ruhig. Herrlicher Park mit Schwimmbad. Auch der Garten des Restaurants draussen war herrlich am kleinen Flüsschen. Bei schlechtem Wetter innen im Gebäude sehr schön. Die Qualität des Restaurants ist ausgezeichnet. Das Personal im Restaurant wie an der Reception sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

We chose this hotel because it was my birthday for a treat as it looked so beautiful and it was, only issue we had my birthday was on the Tuesday and that was the night the kitchen had off and Wednesday lunch time and if you are only staying some where for two nights you do not expect it to not have food available in the evening.

Traumhaft, bezaubernd, idyllisch, friedlich...
...wie aus einem Märchen. Jeder Anblick ein Genuß, sauber, gepflegt und mit Liebe bis ins kleinste Detail dekoriert und arrangiert. Üppig mit Blumen bepflanzt mit Terassen direkt am Wasser, von einem wunderschönen Garten umgeben, eine kleine Brücke, ein herrlicher Pool... noch schöner als auf den Photos! Auch unser Zimmer war passend zum Ambiente exquisit eingerichtet und großzügig geschnitten. Empfangen wurden wir mit Wasser und frischen Erdbeeren, abends während wir beim Essen waren, wurde das Bett aufgeschlagen. So sieht echte Erholung aus. Beim Essen hatten wir Halbpension, da die Einzelpreise wirklich keine Schnäppchen sind. Aber das ist ja gerade in Frankreich so üblich. Das Menü, das man sich aus der Karte dann zusammenstellen kann, war aber so herausragend gut, daß jeder Gedanke an den schnöden Mammon schnell verflog, vor allem, als aus den 3 Gängen magischerweise 5 wurden. Die Qualität jedes einzelnen Ganges war wirklich grandios. Beim Frühstück setzt sich der Trend fort: es wird am Tisch serviert, die Auswahl ist bombastisch, der Service erstklassig und alles unglaublich lecker. Natürlich kann man jederzeit etwas nachordern, sollte es nicht reichen, aber wir haben es nicht geschafft, unseren Tisch leer zu essen. Leider. Ich wollte so gerne... aber es ging einfach nicht mehr... Der Aufenthalt wurde abgerundet durch den perfekten Service: aufmerksam, aber nicht aufdringlich, herzlich, dabei professionell. Das alles hat natürlich seinen Preis, aber der ist angemessen.
