The home was not up to the standard we have experienced with other VRBO’s . From the time we arrived we had a few issues. There was an odd smell when you first walked in the place. There were no hand towels in kitchen or bathrooms or wash clothes. The kitchen was not clean I actually cleaned the stove vent hood due to I thought that was where the smell was coming from. Did not provide a new clean sponge the one in the sink had soured. The cabinet doors in the kitchen and bathroom could use a good cleaning and hung correctly. The outside had trash strewn everywhere. It was not well maintained could us a good clean up . Only two of the backyard chairs were usable and I had to clean them myself. One of the chairs is in the lake. I will say the host did send us kitchen towels and a scented candle and when I discovered no blow dryer he had one sent out. With such a beautiful view of the lake and a nice fishing pier that we enjoyed every day it would be good to have the backyard leveled better. We slipped many times coming off the back porch going down to the pier. Just some suggestions to make the property a little more attractive.
