Set in the heart of Nea Chora Chania's beloved seaside quarter this brand-new maisonette is the work of artists and designers who treated every surface as a canvas. The result is a residence of rare quality, where light, glass, and craftsmanship are held in quiet balance, and where the sea waits just a two-minute walk from your door.


Step inside and the space rises to meet you. Beneath a soaring double-height ceiling, floor to ceiling windows draw in the soft Cretan light from dawn to dusk, while the mountains stand unhurried on the horizon.

Above the sofa hangs the home's beating heart, a large painting, commissioned for this space, where deep blues and molten reds turn like a galaxy caught in the act of becoming. It is the kind of art made not to fill a wall, but to hold the room.

The ascent is part of the design. The cobalt blue staircase carries you from the living space to the privacy of the upper floor, each tread a quiet remove from the world below.

At the top, soft greys and tactile fabrics wrap the bedroom, while behind the bed a wall of glass overlooks the living space below. By day it borrows the sun from the great windows; by night, a textile panel glows above the headboard and the glass turns to quiet reflection.
