'The immersion experience was great. Be prepared though to feel hot and full of bug spray much of the time. Wear hiking pants. Not Lulu leggings (too hot). The guides are great and you can do as much or as little as you want. We saw a lot of animals. '

'Awesome experience. Excellent staff that goes beyond the call of duty to make your stay as comfortable as possible. But realize, this is the jungle, away from civilization which is the reason why one would visit. The hiking was great, even at night, in the rain, through large areas of free standing water, etc. This was an adventure. But also the staff made sure everyone was safe and accounted for. 'Kenny is the owner and he was super helpful with coordinating our day trips and getting us boat rides to the city. The room with the private bathroom was worth it. Not many bugs got inside the room so that was great! Food was average but all included. No a/c but fans by the bed! Overall great stay '

'The property itself is very well built we were surprised we had no issues with bugs inside the room! The view from our room was great also. This was our first time in PM so we didn’t know what to expect, but thought there would be more things to do there for what we paid. We also thought there would be some wild life around! We didn’t see much of anything besides some birds! Luckily there is a wild life sanctuary 5 minute walk from the lodge that allows visual tours of their monkeys for $80...

'We weren’t exactly sure what to expect, but our stay was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Peru. All of the staff was amazing; restaurant staff, particularly Leslie and Renzo, were very friendly and attentive, our guide Yuri was very knowledgeable, fun and accommodating. The excursions included with your stay are well organized and very worthwhile. We would definitely recommend IKAM and hope to return. '

"I had a fantastic stay at this place! The house was very nice—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The swimming pool was a huge bonus, especially during the hot days—it was the perfect place to relax and cool off. One of the highlights was seeing plenty of animals, including monkeys, right around the house, which really added to the tropical vibe. The tours offered were also excellent and gave us a great opportunity to explore the area and experience the local culture. Highly recommended!"
