Luxueus ingericht 5BR / 2. 5BA huis in de buurt van UNC / Duke

Ons huis is in Chapel Hill, een paar mijl van Durham, en slechts een mijl van I 40. Snel 18 mijl, 20 minuten rijden op I 40 W van RDU Airport. Dicht bij UNC, Duke, openbaar park, overdekt zwembad, het centrum van Franklin St., jogging- en wandelpaden, tennisbanen etc. Ideaal voor koppels, zakenreizigers, gezinnen (met kinderen) en grote groepen. Prachtig aangelegde voortuin, grote omheinde achtertuin met bomen en gas grill. Geweldig uitzicht vanuit glazen serre. Vreedzame Boeddha-tuin rond de vijver van koivissen.

De woning is luxueus ingericht, prachtig aangelegd, recent opnieuw geverfd met recent vervangen nieuwe airconditioning- en verwarmingssystemen, nieuwe tankless boiler, nieuwe gasgrill en verbeterde keuken en badkamers. Hardhouten of luxe vinyl plankenvloeren. Het heeft een prachtige Champion-serre met thermisch geïsoleerde vloer tot plafond glazen wanden met een geweldig uitzicht op de bomen en de koivijver in de achtertuin. Het koivisvijvergebied heeft een zitgedeelte met een gasgestookte grill en het is erg ontspannend om daar te zitten en de grote koivissen te zien opzwemmen om uit uw hand te eten.

Hoewel het huis geschikt is voor gezinnen, wees voorzichtig en houd altijd toezicht op kinderen. We hebben een koivijver in de achtertuin met een maximale diepte van ongeveer 4 voet in het midden van de vijver. Laat niemand, inclusief kinderen of huisdieren, erin duiken of waden of de vijver in, omdat dit gevaarlijk kan zijn. De huiseigenaren zijn niet aansprakelijk voor eventuele ongevallen als iemand de koivijver binnenkomt in strijd met deze regels.
Voorafgaande kennisgeving is noodzakelijk voor het houden van partijen en extra schoonmaakkosten van $ 150 per partij zijn van toepassing.
Volg alle toepasselijke beleidsregels en toepasselijke wetten. Alleen personen van 18 jaar en ouder mogen deze diensten gebruiken. De persoon die de boeking heeft gemaakt, moet blijven. Minderjarigen kunnen niet alleen blijven en moeten worden vergezeld door de volwassene (n) die de boeking heeft gemaakt.

UNC Graduation

We stayed at this centrally located property to partake in the UNC graduation. The host left a special graduation gift for our daughter. We spent many relaxing hours in the cozy and beautiful solarium overlooking a stunning backyard full of trees.

Great property, felt like home!

We had a great stay at this property, it is neat and clean and well maintained, perfect for my family to gather while attending my daughter's wedding. It had everything we needed and really made us feel at home. There was one small issue with a smoke alarm chirping but I called the handyman contact given in the instructions and he came right over and took care of it, he couldn't have been nicer and made us comfortable we were in good hands. The location is great, the neighborhood is very nice and we would stay here again without hesitation, highly recommended!

Lovely weekend at Home Away!

The house is beautifully decorated. The fenced in back yard was especially nice for our family with a pet. The kitchen was well appointed and there were TV’s aplenty for us to spread out and relax at the end of the day. One thing to point out - there is not a main floor bedroom. That may have been in the description but I missed it, and since my husband and I both have mobility issues it was a bit of a challenge. Otherwise all was good! Joe (the property host) was great! He gave us all of the information we needed and then some! We would definitely stay in this property again. Thanks Joe!

Extended family vacation in Chapel Hill

We had 6 adults and 3 children from ages 2-6 at this property. We were very comfortable in the bedroom/ bathroom situation. The house was well equipped in every way…. From linens to kitchen equipment to TV’s . The host was totally responsive to every question/ comment. The neighborhood was beautiful. You will not be disappointed if you stay there.

Lovely property! Very organized.

This was a great property! We arrived at midnight and had no trouble getting in. Lots of nice, clean space. Highlights were the backyard and the sunroom. Loved how all the drawers were labeled so we knew where to put things back. Joe was super helpful and we had everything we needed.

No Better Place in Chapel Hill

So many times when we have rented a vacation rental, there is a sense of a let down when you actually see the place. This was not the case at all with this property. Everything was sparkling clean and nice. The furniture and beds were comfortable and the outdoor space is very lovely. I can't imagine a better place to rent if you are needing a house in Chapel Hill.

Perfect for our Family!

Our family stayed here for a month as part of a move to Chapel Hill. We could not have been happier with the property all around. It's a in a great location to get anywhere in Chapel Hill or Durham. It is right around the corner from a park for runs or playgrounds. The rooms were clean and plenty spacious for our children. And, the gym was a bonus! Joe was super responsive and helpful throughout. We would absolutely recommend staying here for a family or group.

Xmas Stay

Our experience for the most part was good. Could’ve been excellent but there were a couple of avoidable challenges... Given this property’s daily charge rate... occupants in master bedroom should be able to have a situation where they can watch television in bed - television in bedroom did not have any network connectivity. Master bathroom did not have a functioning fan so if I used bathroom, my significant other could not stay in master bedroom unaffected by it. There was a shortage of wash clothes for some reason? The house is very nice & most everything was thought of for occupants’ comfort... but what I mentioned above are avoidable oversights. The owner was very accessible until day before check out. I asked for late check out after expressing frustration with master bedroom television and received no response. Nice stay but was it worth price tag given its fee challenges? Hmmmmm

Perfect weekend!

Thanks to Joe for being a gracious host. I brought my family and friends back to Chapel Hill for the weekend and the accommodations were exactly what we needed. Plenty of space and the property is well kept. Proximity to the campus is great with ready access to the bus line and Uber. I would recommend for families and for friends. Warm and enviting

We spent most of our time in the back viewing room. The home was full of unique collectibles and ethnic decor. We cooked most our meals in their fully equipped kitchen and even on the grill. This was a lovely property which made relaxing very easy. Our children loved the and garden with koi pond.

Perfect Chapel Hill Home

We were in Chapel Hill for a family wedding over Labor Day Weekend and this beautiful home was just perfect. The home is located in a lovely neighbor and is very secure. It is well equipped and was convenient to the wedding events we attended near UNC/Franklin Street and a twenty minute drive to the reception at Fearrington Barn. It was nice to relax "at home" instead of a hotel room. Besides the wedding, it was opening weekend for NCAA football and the big screen TV in the family room was a huge hit! Thank you for making your home available. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your home in Chapel Hill.

Safe neighborhood, international flavor adds character to well appointed home. Kitchen, laundry, baths, and bedrooms are well stocked. AC kept us cool even on the hotest summer days. An improvement would be cable or dish TV.

Felt like home

We stayed at the house when in town for my daughters graduation at UNC, it was a perfect location. The house definitely has the feel of a home, and you can tell the owners still use it as such some of the time. So it feels like staying at a friends house and not the sterile feel of a hotel room. It is well equipped and they have gone to the trouble to label cupboards and draws for items in the kitchen. We had an issue come up during our stay (the sort of thing that can happen at any time in any house) and the owners were very responsive and helpful in getting it resolved asap. We were very happy and comfortable and have no hesitation recommending.

Chapel Hill Blue Visit

The house was very comfortable for a short 3 night stay. The kitchen was well stocked, I would suggest a larger coffee pot, the present one is only 5 small cups. The back sun room was a great place to relax. The Koi pond was interesting, but not appropriate to sit around as the chairs had not had the winter dirt cleaning. The location is very convenient to the Chapel Hill area.
