Centralized Charlotte Townhouse with Table Tennis

This newly renovated stylish townhouse is located at the edge of South End giving you both the peaceful atmosphere of a residential neighborhood while also being just a short distance from the most lively area in all of Charlotte.

The space
The first thing you will notice as you walk into this townhouse is the gorgeous living room. Within it is a brand new adjustable couch that can be used as a relaxing space to watch TV or as an extra bed. Situated next to the living room is the luxury kitchen which comes equipped with all new appliances, coffee maker, toaster, and all the pots, pans, and utensils needed to make any lavish feast. Down the steps in the basement is a full sized ping pong table with balls and paddles, perfect for fun evenings with families and friends. Also in the basement are the separate Samsung washer and dryer as well as detergent. Up the stairs on the 2nd floor lies 2 large bedrooms each with queen sized bed , a 4K HDR Roku TV and closets. Plenty of free parking available on site.

Host was non-communicative. Provided wrong entrance code. Was not given proper entrance code til after midnight! No apology. Stumbling around in the dark for a long time waiting for a call back from host. No lights on and very dark outside. Very rude host. Sink in bathroom just didn't drain. Mold isdue! both of us left sick. I left After being there 8 hours. Found through reviews that hosts were told of the mold problem and sin prior. Just awful!!! I want full refund, considering criminal complaint.

Upon entering the townhome, I noticed a strong unpleasant odor, but began to bring in my luggage with the front door open. I sat on the couch to make a call when my nose began to feel stuffy and my throat began to feel inflamed/stuffy with itchy eyes, then I took a headache I have mold spore and pet dander allergies and recognized there was a trigger in this home, so I removed my bags and left. I notified host that I left as well as VRBO. Odors are not considered a refundable offense, so I returned the next morning to uncover the reason for my allergic reaction. Black mold on ceiling in kitchen just below the bathroom above. Evidence of water intrusion on top level and basement that had been covered up with paint. A box of mouse poison in the basement and various bugs present. Booked five nights, did not stay. Host did not respond after the first night.

The townhome is older and had a musty smell to it. The beds are very firm and cheaply made. The neighbors were loud and having verbal altercations off & on during are stay. One was also revving up his car engine during late night hours. We felt unsafe the whole stay. The pictures don't give a true depiction of the rental. Overall, we would have expected better from a rental in the Dilworth community of Charlotte. We won't be renting this property again during our future trips to Charlotte.

Weekend Getaway with Friends

Stayed here for a weekend to attend an event with some out of town friends. Great location, near everything you need. House was clean and comfortable and check out was quick and simple. Will definitely stay here again next time I'm in the area.

GREAT location

We enjoyed our stay, the neighborhood was awesome. Easy to find, easy entry. Very close to shopping, restaurants, we walked everywhere during our stay, felt very safe. Comfortable living room furniture. Roomy bedrooms. Loved the jigsaw puzzle!

Great place to stay

We loved this property. It was exactly as described. Supermarket and pub less than 2 mins walk and everything you could want to see in Charlotte within 10mins drive/uber. The place was very clean, a lovely kitchen if you get sick of eating out and small shampoos, conditioners, soaps and body washes left out for you. Really enjoyable stay. Would definitely stay again when back in Charlotte!
