Comfortabel appartement op de 2de verdieping, gelegen aan een rustige woonstraat in het historische Dilworth, 1. 5 mijl van Uptown. Perfect voor verblijven van lange of korte duur met een volledig uitgeruste keuken, wifi en een afgeschermde veranda om te eten en te ontspannen.

De buurt heeft een mix van statige huizen en vakwerkbungalows, waarvan er vele in het begin van de 20e eeuw zijn gebouwd, en een aantal levendige commerciële gebieden met een overvloed aan lokale restaurants en winkels, waardoor Dilworth de meest voetgangersvriendelijke, beloopbare wijk in de stad is.

Gelegen op slechts 1,5 km van het centrale zakendistrict (Uptown), kunt u lopen naar 3 parken, twee full-service supermarkten, 40+ restaurants (Thais, veganistisch / rauw, Indiaas, Italiaans, Peruaans, nieuw Amerikaanse enz.) Massagestudio's, coffeeshops, kunstgalerijen, consignatiewinkels, buurtcafés en andere voorzieningen, langs brede trottoirs onder enorme wilgen eiken.

Op slechts een paar blokken zijn vele eetgelegenheden, waaronder een sushi-restaurant, een van de beste Italiaanse restaurants in Charlotte, een koffiebar, een yogastudio, verschillende wijkcafés (waarvan er een de meeste avonden live muziek is), een populaire ontbijtplek, een volledige -service supermarkt en een park met een tennisbaan.

Een doorvoer halte 1/2 blok weg biedt busdienst rechtstreeks naar Uptown, het Convention Center / Time Warner Arena / Panthers Stadium en in de andere richting naar SouthPark (luxe winkels) elke 15-20 minuten.

De lightrail Lynx Blue Line ligt op slechts 15 minuten lopen, met treinen die in 10 minuten rechtstreeks naar Uptown rijden. Het Carolinas Medical Center (Levine Kinderziekenhuis) ligt op 4 minuten rijden met de auto of op een makkelijke wandeling van 15-20 minuten.

Jaarlijkse evenementen in de buurt zijn het Griekse Festival, Festival in the Park, de Dilworth Criterium-wielerwedstrijd.

Met zo veel voor de deur en goede toegang tot het openbaar vervoer, is een auto niet nodig en veel van onze gasten nemen gewoon een taxi vanaf het vliegveld en verkennen de buurt te voet.

Meets the need, but showing it's age and clearly there to make money

This apartment photographs quite well, but it's showing its age inside. All of the fixtures are pretty cheap. It has everything you need, but it's just not as well cared for as when you rent a place that is owned by an individual, rather than a company. The communication was quick, but when we reported an issue about needing a new water filter, it was never confirmed that it was resolved. We had an okay time here, thus the 3 stars. The neighborhood is the biggest selling point of this property.

Nice but would not stay again

Pros: Lovely neighborhood, comfy bed, nice living areas, and for the most part very clean. Cons: Bathtub grout/caulk needs to be cleaned/replaced - there is mold. This is an older building and every morning and evening from the apartment above we were serenaded by heavy footsteps and other sounds (like moving furniture?? - we couldn't figure out what was going on).

We enjoyed our stay. The property was nicely outfitted with all the necessities (nice quality bedding and towels, bathing accessories, kitchen necessities,etc). The inclusion of wine and fruit was a welcoming touch. The only recommendation would be to find a TV service that consistently works. The current streaming service was difficult to watch and channels were limited. Otherwise, everything was great and we would stay again without hesitation.

There was a large amount of mold in the bathroom which prevented us from staying past one night. You could see that they painted over it and it came right through. Me and my daughters all felt sick from it.

How amazing of a treat this place turned out to be!!! Perfect location, friendly neighbors, close to bars, restaurants, shops and so much more. The house was so clean and beautifully decorated. This property was perfect! The owners ensured we had everything we needed and more. It truly felt like a second home. Off street parking was a plus. The location was very convenient to many restaurants. Food Lion grocery was a 5 minute walk. I highly recommend staying at this location for your visit to Charlotte.

Great location, great space!

I stayed here with my father, and so we used both bedrooms. There is a single bathroom, two bedrooms (a king and two twins), a very comfortable livingroom/dining area, and a small kitchen. There is also a screened porch, off-street parking, laundry in unit, and basically, it's quite nice. The building dates back to the 1930s and the neighborhood is very walkable and cute. It's about a mile from the rapid transit line, or there is a nearby bus. Very convenient to uptown locations such as the convention center, football arena, etc. The proprieter stocked some items of convenience that we took advantage of -- a bottle or two of wine, some snacks, fruit, orange juice, coffee, plus some items to make a basic cocktail. We really appreciated this. I would very much recommend staying here.

Classy and Comfortable

This is our second time here and we love everything from the comfortable beds to the nice kitchen to the cozy living room and the beautiful screened in porch. A real bonus is being in short walking distance to so many Dilworth gems and a short drive or uber ride to all Charlotte has to offer. We will be back!
