Lakefront Retreat, nieuw boothuis, prieel op diep water

Gezellige slaapkamer met twee slaapkamers, onlangs gerenoveerd, in de stijl van de jaren zestig, een stacaravan op Lake Norman. Prachtig uitzicht vanaf het grote overdekte terras met uitzicht op de brede baai op het meer. Volop buiten zitplaatsen om te genieten van het uitzicht!

Gloednieuw prieel en botenhuis als je een boot of jetski's mee wilt nemen. 2 kajaks, 2 stand-up paddleboards en noedels, gratis bij verhuur. Hoefijzer put in voortuin, vuurplaats in achtertuin naast het meer. Water basketbal hoepel bevestigd aan dock. Geniet van een spelletje paard op het meer of speel een spelletje maïskolf bij het meer. Basketbal en maïskolfplaten geleverd.

2 slaapkamers (1 queen, 1 volledige) en uittrekbare slaapbank voor 6 personen in totaal. TV, kabel en wi-fi beschikbaar. 5 minuten van Food Lion supermarkt, Walgreens en restaurants. 10 minuten rijden naar Target, Wal Mart, bioscoop, bowlingbaan, 2 openbare golfbanen en I-77. 30 minuten van Charlotte.

Absoluut GEEN PARTIJEN toegestaan. Dit is een woonwijk en we zijn vrienden met de buren. Ze bellen ons en de politie als er op elk moment van de dag teveel gasten op het terrein zijn.

Let op: thuis heeft geen wasmachine of droger.

Much needed break!

Peaceful little place nestled in a very nice neighborhood, right on the water. Huge back deck overlooking Lake Norman. A simple drive to food and shopping. Host goes above and beyond to ensure you have the things most likely forgotten when packing! Hope to be able to book this place many more times in the future!

Small house, excellent back yard.

Great place for a fishing trip. Only changes would be new stove, smaller bed frame that fits matress in guest room. Not a must but screened in back porch. Boat dock was 5 star. Plenty of parking room. House was well stocked. We had a great time.

Great place for boaters

If you're looking for a quiet place on the lake, and a spot to tie up you're boat this is it. The property is cozy and nostalgic. Paddle boards and kayaks are provided and the boat house and over water gazebo are perfect for the watersports fan. The host was awesome. He worked with me on a last minute request to stay another day and was always there if l needed anything. Will definitely make this place one of my regular stays.

The trip was a good time. The home is exactly as decribed. We spent most of our time at a friend home during the day and used the home for its dock and a place to sleep. It is not a lot of extras, or modern, etc. The amenities are extremely basic, but fine enough. The owner was very responsive and nice.

Quiet retreat

We loved the location and being able to stay on Lake Norman for a reasonable price. It was nestled back in the woods, but close to anything you might need. I loved having my tea next to the lake under the gazebo. The owner was up front about the accommodations. He definitely said that the mobile home was older but updated so it didn’t have a dishwasher. But Vrbo needs to update it’s listing to show there is no dishwasher. I would stay again.

Weekend getaway

The house is an older trailer as described. I gave a 4 on cleanliness because there were spider webs everywhere. I was knocking them down as I was walking down the hallway in the dark. :( Master bed is HORRIBLE, however, the guest bedroom bed was ok. The water smells like rust and there isn’t a light over the shower in the bathroom. The neighborhood is fabulous and the outside is fantastic. The dock is amazing and we had a great time sitting down by the lake on our trip.

Beautiful setting

My husband and I and our adult son stayed for a week while visiting our son and wife nearby. We have stayed multiple times at the lake over the past 5 years. This setting was gorgeous with the new dock and an abundance of lake toys. We really enjoyed using the kayaks and paddle boards. We enjoyed a fire in the fire pit after a late afternoon swim. Unfortunately, rental prices have skyrocketed. This was affordable but the house is old and needs replaced since updating is not a likely option. The online listing was accurate, so we were not surprised by the condition. There were plenty of dishes, cleaning supplies, and linens. Since the weather was mild at night, we would have liked to have the windows open instead of using the air-conditioning, but there were no screens in the windows. Larry was very helpful and kind.
