    Welkom in het prachtige landschap rond het historische Charlottesville!
    Het "Tree House" - zo genoemd naar zijn enorm mooie eik - staat op wat eens de locatie was van een hut uit de pre-Civil War. Dit huis verwelkomt bezoekers jong en oud en groepen groot of klein! Verken de ruime buitenomgeving met wandelpaden, een gravel-tennisbaan (als het weer het toelaat), een schilderachtige vijver met een drijvend dok, een vuurplaats en bandschommel en een groot veld voor lacrosse, voetbal, voetbal, frisbee - noem maar op!
    Met slechts 23 minuten rijden tussen de mooie boerderijen en de Blue Ridge-uitzichten, kunt u het populaire Historic Downtown Pedestrian Mall ervaren. De University of Virginia met zijn prachtige Rotunda en Grounds is slechts enkele minuten verder.
    Wijnhuizen zijn er in overvloed in de omgeving! Dicht bij een bezoek aan de wijngaarden en ruïnes van Barboursville en de wijngaarden van Horton. Castle Hill, een cidery met een spectaculaire setting en trouwlocatie is slechts een paar weggetjes verwijderd ... Ook Chestnut Oak Vineyard, Keswick Vineyards en Burnley Vineyards om nog een paar te noemen ...

Great for families

Stayed here with extended family with kids and adults and it was perfect! My nieces and nephews spent hours on the tree swing! A great set up for everyone to stay together but also have privacy. Gorgeous location too!

Great Charlottesville escape

Awesome quick getaway with old friends. Went into town for great meals but the best part was sitting by the fire pit in front of the majestic oak tree. Great spot for our get together.

Great space for large group retreat!

We had a lovely stay at this property! We loved the ping pong and foosball tables and the outdoor area in particular. It was clean, cozy, had plenty of towel and linens, and lots of sleeping options.

Family Reunion

This was a great location and property for our 3 sons and their families. The outdoor space was perfect for a small pool and the grandkids loves the swing on the beautiful oak tree. Each famliy had there own sleeping space on each floor. A perfect place for large familes to meet.

Great Getaway

Perfect Family Getaway!

We had five families with children vacationing together and the house was perfect!! Everyone had their own living area and there was so much room. The kids especially loved the indoor play rooms and the amazing swing hanging from the house’s namesake tree. The adults enjoyed how peaceful the area was while still being just a drive away from Charlottesville. It was truly the ideal vacation house.

Spacious and Peaceful, Great for Families

We had a great stay for a family Thanksgiving gathering. House had ample space and amenities for everyone - fire pit, patio, play room, and piano were all a big hit. Lovely, relaxed, and commodious

This house is perfect for connecting with friends and family. The kitchen is large, well appointed, and well suited to cook together. The outdoor firepit and nearby trails made for a perfect weekend of reconnecting and relaxing with a group old friends. Everything was perfectly clean, there were thoughtful touches all over the house (fresh sheets and towels exactly where you'd hope to find them). I would absolutely stay here again.

Wonderful Country Getaway

We had an amazing stay in Charlottesville thanks to Mary and her wonderful property! We had a large group of friends and family, and I must say, all 10 of us were very impressed by how comfortable and spacious the accommodations were. We especially enjoyed the large outdoor patio area, it was a perfect weekend. I would definitely recommend this property to any families or groups looking to have a memorable weekend in Charlottesville!!

Happy Christmas

Our family had a wonderful time spending Christmas at your home. We opened presents by the wood burning stove in the cozy front room and singing carols around the piano. We hiked down to the river and wished we could have spent more time outside on the beautiful property but it was nice and warm inside, it was mighty cold out there during our stay.

The house accommodated our family perfectly. Love the twin beds for each of the kids. We had one day of rain and the space in the house was perfect for spending the day inside. To the owner. light on the microwave is burned out. The house had a musty odor upon arrival.. probably from being closed up. Nice new skillets.

Wonderful!

The Tree House was perfect for our family. We came to Charlottesville for our daughter's wedding and needed a place big enough to hold our family of 10 plus another family of four. We felt like there was plenty of room and the surrounding area is beautiful! It is a little way from grocery stores or other shopping, but the location is peaceful and quiet and we loved sitting on the porch and enjoying the yard. Everything was clean and roomier than it looks in the photos. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Place to Stay!

My wife and I rented this place our wedding weekend for us and our wedding party. The place was clean and spacious, beds were comfortable, and the outdoor space with the fire pit was SO cute!! We enjoyed the quiet and serenity before the big day. The host was very responsive and communicative. She let us check in a little early too which we all really appreciated! I would most definitely stay here again and 10/10 recommend!

Perfect House for Lots of People

7 ladies rented this house for a getaway. It was perfect. So many bedrooms and bathrooms. Great living space for all of us to gather. Well stocked kitchen with Kindle and regular coffee pots. We loved the outside fire pit and used it all nights that we were there. Our group gets away together once per year, and it's going to be hard to find a better house.

Memorial weekend

My large family had a great experience staying here for a long weekend. There was ample and comfortable space for everyone. The outdoor area was so easy to use and we spent most of our time here with several cookouts. The indoor rooms & activities for kids and the outdoor space were perfect for all of us. Thank you. It meant a lot to have this comfortable homelike space for this special weekend when our family interred my husband's ashes at Panorama Natural Burial.

A Memorable Family Weekend Trip!!

We had a GREAT time staying here! We had 12 adults and 2 children. We all had bedrooms/beds and plenty of room to gather. The kids loved the outdoor swing and playroom upstairs. The house is close to wineries and breweries. A great family get together with wonderful memories made here. We will be reserving this house again. The owner Mary was very responsive and even left us a sweet note when we arrived.
