Hawks View is een onlangs voltooide hut en onze nieuwste vakantie in de bergen!

We zijn een familiebedrijf hutten genesteld in de Blue Ridge Mountains. onze hutten liggen op minder dan een uur rijden van bezienswaardigheden zoals de Blue Ridge Parkway, Crabtree Falls, Montebello Fish Hatchery, Oak Ridge Estate (Infinity Downs / Lockn '), Wintergreen Ski Resort, Rockfish Valley Restaurants, wijnkelders en brouwerijen, Walton's Mountain Museum en de Appalachian Trail. We zijn ook binnen een uur tijd van Lexington, Lynchburg, Charlottesville, Staunton en Waynesboro, Virginia. Alle hutten zijn modern uitgerust en klaar voor uw verblijf. Hawks View is onze meest recent vermelde hut!
De cabine is geschikt voor maximaal 4 personen, maar perfect geschikt voor een romantisch koppel.
Slaapkamers: 1 queensize bed in slaapkamer op de bovenverdieping en 1 slaapbank in de woonkamer.
Badkamers: 1 Vol bad aangrenzende slaapkamer, voorzien van luxe jet-aangedreven bad en aparte douche. 1 poederkamer op de begane grond.

Vanwege het oplopende terrein is mobiele service op dit moment niet beschikbaar. Internet / wifi is beschikbaar (beperkt tot sociale media en e-mail). Er is ook een vaste telefoon in de cabine voor lokale en noodoproepen.

Klein balkon met uitzicht op de bergen en de rivier Tye (wanneer het seizoen uitzicht mogelijk maakt)

TOELICHTING OP HUURDER:
-Zelfs GEEN SCHOENEN / LAARZEN / WATERSCHOENEN in wasmachine en droger
-Open trap is bovenaan afgesloten, maar kan gevaarlijk zijn voor kleine kinderen. Er mogen GEEN poorten aan de onderkant van de trap zijn bevestigd.

The mountain views are absolutely stunning—waking up to the mist rolling over the Blue Ridge Mountains is something we look forward to every year. It’s peaceful, scenic, and a true escape from the daily grind.One of our favorite features is the nearby stream. The gentle sound of water adds the perfect touch to the already relaxing atmosphere. Whether you're sitting on the porch with a cup of coffee or hiking around the area, nature is all around you.Montebello is a quiet, hidden gem in Virginia. If you're looking for a place to reconnect with nature, breathe mountain air, and slow things down, this is it. We'll be back next year—no question!

Perfect weekend getaway

I brought my SO here for a little surprise weekend to celebrate her birthday. Absolutely amazing cabin and awesome secluded location. The cabin was clean and spacious and more than we expected. Listening to the river outside while we unwound from reality was the perfect touch. We’ll definitely be returning!

Hawks View Getaway

This was our 2nd stay at Hawks View on the banks of the beautiful North Fork of the Tye River. The setting is so relaxing and peaceful. The cabin is fabulous and everything you need for a comfortable stay awaits you.

Hawks View

We have stayed here many times and we always enjoy this property. It has a large deck overlooking the North Fork of the Tye River. Hiking downto the river you find a hidden treasure! The cabin itself is very clean and well equipped for our stay, including a washer/dryer. Looking forward to our next stay. The hosts are very friendly and helpful and even called during our stay to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay.

Book this cabin!

Our stay in this cabin along the mountain stream was incredible. There is a fabulous view of the river out of almost every window and sitting out on the deck was a true mountain experience. The strategically placed lights you can turn on facing the river so you can even see the view at night was such a nice and well thought out touch. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and decorated so cozy it made us want to enjoy the indoors as much as the outdoors during our stay. The owners were delightful to communicate with and were very accommodating and kind. We love to stay in new places when we travel, but we will definitely be returning to this cabin on an annual basis, God willing. Oh- and the location..10/10. This place checks all the boxes.

Very Relaxing

The sound of the rolling river through the property made it all worth while. My wife and I both enjoyed the opportunity to unplug(very remote location) and just sit out on the deck and talk, play games or do nothing. We hiked up Crabtree Falls and it was beautiful. Just a relaxing, enjoyable couple of days for us. We would definitely come back.

Kenneth and Margaret are wonderful. Our first evening She called to check and see if we needed anything (of course the cabin had everything we could ever need). Everything was very clean and comfortable. We loved having coffee in the morning on the deck overlooking the rushing stream. All was peaceful and beautiful. We will definitely be renting here again.

Great Place To Stay

We can't express enough how much we enjoyed our stay at hawksview. Our hosts, Kenneth and Margaret are always so wonderful and the places that we've rented from them are always impeccably clean and well kept. Location is great, and we always enjoy going down to the stream. This was our first visit in cooler weather so we enjoyed the fireplace immensely. We are looking forward to a return visit very soon.

Cozy cabin in the woods with lits to do nearby

Hawk's Nest Cabin was very clean, well furnished and the location is near lots to do. We hiked to the falls at St. Mary's Wilderness and through the Blue Ridge Tunnel, and shopped at the Farmers'Market and Apple Stands/Stores. Loved hearing the stream flowing by and the breeze blowing through the trees as I sat on the side deck drinking coffee.
