'The room was spacious enough, but on our first day, the TV wasn't working; we were told this was an issue in all the rooms. When I asked at the reception the next morning, they were completely unaware of the problem but promised to look into it. Naturally, we received no compensation. The TV was indeed fixed on the second day. I had also booked breakfast with the room, but the meal was poor and not worth the price. The selection was very limited, and the portions were far from satisfying.'

'Staff and breakfast were amazing. Room cleanliness could have been a better but not bad. No blackout curtains. There was an event while we were there and parking was chaotic. Also it can be very loud in the rooms during events. Overall a decent place to stay. The property is beautiful.'

'The first unit I reserved had some issues - sliding door wouldn't open and logging into the TV, but the host moved us to another unit that was much better. We didn't know that places would be closed either due to it being off season or Easter weekend. We had to go into Banner Elk to eat and buy groceries. Just wanted to add that for people like us that don't travel to the mountains often. Overall we had a good trip, but I would stay in Banner Elk, Boone, or Blowing Rock next time.'

'Het is er verschrikkelijk gehorig. Erg veel last van het verkeer buiten op straat. Hierdoor heel slecht en weinig geslapen.
Het ontbijt was netjes.

'I stayed in one of the log cabin hotel rooms. The room was spacious, and the fireplace was cute with plenty of firewood available.
However, there were multiple stink bugs that had invaded the room. Also, the glass patio door had smudges, dog nose, prints, or sticky toddler hand prints all over it. The tile in the bathroom floor is cracked. The stairs up to the second floor are slanted and a little treacherous.'
