'This is an old hotel in a lower/mid neighborhood. They don't allow bag checking or early check in. The rooms were old but clean and functional. Price is readonable. You check in through a well worn hole in the glass and must make a cash deposit of $50. Some will be put off by this but it met my needs for the price.'

So we went down to the front desk and the gentleman working the desk said nothing?? And just fixed them and handed them back? So thanks for fixing them but some sort of explanation wouldve been nice or assurance this wouldnt happen again since desk hours arent 24 hours and BOTH room keys were disabled? 'The hotel was beautiful, our room was modern, very clean and quiet. The bed and pillows were SO comfortable, coupled with the fact that it seemed our room was sound-proof, lol...we slept incredibly well. We didn't hear any noise at all. It was wonderful! There is plenty to do around it and we walked to dinner, which was nice. Parking was also very easy and reasonably priced. Our check-in was the only thing that didn't go smoothly due to a language barrier, but everything else made up for that. I...

'The only issue I had was there was a fire alarm and evacuation one of the mornings. It was an issue with the breakfast and the alarm should have never got to the point of evacuating the hotel.'
